I immediately started thinking about my song that I would enter. I need to think of an amazing song. The front door opened. Oh crap! I forgot to start dinner! I rushed to the kitchen and looked through the freezer. The only dinner-like food was frozen pizza. "What's for dinner?,' Mom asked. "Uh..pizza," I replied weakly. "You forgot about dinner, didn't you?,' mom said, and laughed. "Maybe....' Well don't worry, were ordering pizza. It's the first day of school and all." I was relieved. The frozen pizza didn't look too appetizing, and ordering pizza was ALWAYS good. "Any homework?,' mom asked. I groaned. "Don't ask," was my answer. "A lot?" Let me see.." I began counting off my fingers. "Math:1-50, odds, Science- Draw a periodic table, English-write an essay about yourself which will be presented Monday, History-read Ch. 1 by Wednesday.We'll have a test Monday. Drama-practice a monologue which will be presented Monday, Music-learn musical notes, test Monday. "Well, you'd better get started," mom said. And so I did. I worked till dinner, then worked for an hour or two after, and started working on my song. I got an idea.
