Things Are Starting to Get Difficult.
Still Gerard's POV:
When I woke the next morning it was 8 so I thought it was a pretty reasonable time to call her. When I rang I think her sister answered the phone, Angel was still asleep but her sister woke her up which made me feel worse
“Hey Angel” I said softly
“Gerard?” she asked down the phone, I started chocking I think it would have been classed, down the phone
“No Angel it’s Venom” I replied, I had no idea how she knew my name, maybe she knew someone called Gerard as well
“Oh hi Venom” she responded, she did sound like she had just gotten up and she was coughing a little I think she may have been sick
“Are you sick?” I asked her trying to make conversation I don’t think she was a very morning person
“A little” she said as I heard rustling on the other end
“Sorry I woke you” I apologised to her
“It’s fine, I like waking up hearing your voice it’s nice” she said sweetly, I could tell she was smiling, I guess that last night wasn’t really a fight either that or she had forgiven me for whatever I had done
“I like hearing your voice too” I replied as Mikey walked into the room
“Who’s on the phone?” he asked me
“Someone” is all I answered
“Is that your brother?” Angel asked me
“Yeah” I said as I watched Mikey watching me
“Say hi to him for me” she said
“She says hi,” I told him, he didn’t know who she was
“Hi” he called back loudly so she could hear, I heard her laugh a little she was waking up
“So what are you doing today?” I asked her since I wanted to meet her
“I have to help my mother at work” she replied, I sighed I wanted to meet her, I wanted to see how beautiful she was, I wanted to hug her
“Oh what time do you finish?” I asked
“At about 3” she replied, we had a interview at 5 I don’t think 2 hours would be enough for me
“Maybe another day” I replied saddened
“Yeah, what’s your next free day so we can make sure we don’t make plans” she proposed, that was a good idea I checked the calendar on the kitchen wall
“5th of July” I said, we had shows and interviews and little things like that on all the day between now and then, I wanted to spend a whole day with her not just half a day
“Sounds good” she replied happily, I grinned I loved it when she sounded happy
“It’s a date,” I said and then realised what I had said exactly, she giggled
“You giggled again” I accused her
“I may have” she said sneakily I could just imagine her shifting her eyes. In the background I heard someone say ‘Hurry up girl’
“I have to go,” she said so I guess that was her mother
“Okay, well I’ll talk to you tonight?” I asked more than stated
“Maybe” she replied
“Talk to you soon Venom” she said sounding distant though I could hear her perfectly
“Yeah, you too Angel” I said goodbye and then she hung up.
“So who was that?” Mikey asked me and he stood next to me
“Someone” is all I said as I walked down to my room
“Does this someone know about Winter?” he asked, this confused me why would he care if Angel knew or didn’t know about Winter
“No” I replied shrugging my shoulders and throwing myself on my bed
“And Winter doesn’t know about her” he stated this time
“No” I covered my eyes with my hands, everything was confusing me
“Maybe you should tell them” he replied as he sat next to me
“Would it make a difference?” I asked sitting up, my head felt like it was going to explode
“Of course, Winter likes you and you like her but then there’s this other girl who you clearly like and are going out on a date with, you can’t toy with their hearts you know?” he asked me, how did Mikey suddenly become so much wiser than me
“They’re toying with me,” I said as I looked at him, he just raised his eyebrows
“They are, I’ve known Angel for nearly two months and I like her a lot but then Winter comes along and just captures me, with her green eyes and black hair” I sighed I’m glad I had Mikey he was so easy to talk to
“Angel? The girl from the internet? The one who doesn’t even know your real name and you don’t know hers?” he asked looking a bit sceptical
“Yeah, I didn’t want to tell her because she knows and likes the band and I wanted to know if she would actually like me if she knew I wasn’t in this band, you know how it is Mikey” I confined in him, his face softened, he was always there for me when I was going through hard times and good times
“Just don’t hurt Winter okay” he said protectively. This problem I knew I was going to have.
