A Date?
A week before prom, Jenna plopped down on Jeff's bed and looked around at the mess that surrounded her.
"So Are you going to the prom?" Jeff asked
"Nope..I think its a bit stupid. I mean, If I had a date I'd go, but I don't." She replied.
"Yeah.....Well, Axl's going with Amber...So...ummm....Since he's going maybe we could go....Together?....You know, So we don't go and looked like total loser's who can't get dates!" He added quickly, looking down nervously. Jenna thought for a moment
"Okay....What the hell!" She smiled, Jeff looked up at her a smiled widely. "I have nothing to wear though! I'd say the last time I wore a dress was when my mother still picked out my clothes!"
"I'm not at all suprised by that!" He laughed
"Guess...I have to wear a dress though..." She made a face, Jeff laughed at her "Yeah....Well....You have to wear a tux!" She licked her tongue out as they both laughed. She then glanced at the clock on his end table "Fuck! I gotta get home, my mom's gunna kill me!" She rolled her eyes, standing up.
"Okay....Bye." Jeff said, leaning down and hugging her.
"Bye!!" She smiled. On the walk home Jenna began to think 'I can't believe i'm actually going to prom.....I never thought that would happen! Especially with Jeff! I've always had a bit of a crush on him and all but I never thought it would go anywhere! I wonder if he likes me at all?' She shook her head 'Yeah fucking right! And my mother is the queen of England....He was just being nice.....I guess...' When she finally arrived home she quickly ran up to her room and began looking through her things 'What the fuck am I gunna wear! Where do you even get dresses for fuck sakes? The proms In a week! Shit...' She thought, shaking her head in annoyance. Her mother opened her door interupting her thoughts "Supper will be ready soon." She said
"Okay.......Hey mom!" She then said, before her mother could leave
"Yeah?"
"Well....ummm...I was wondering, where would I go to get a dress?" She asked
"A dress? Since when do you where dresses?"
"I don't.....I just....I need one for prom.." She stuttered, looking down
"Prom??" Her mother asked, rasing her eyebrows
"Oh for god sakes! I'm going to prom!....With Jeff."
"I know just the place!" She grinned as she shuts the door. 'Oh god! What have I gotten myself into??' She thought with a sigh as she fell back onto her bed.
