“Ha-ha, would yer look at tha wanka?” Matt giggled loudly as we watched Dickie Roberts Child Star, “E’s getting’ beaten up by a lil’midget!”

“Oi, tha’s not nice, yea dun call Lee a midget,” I scorned playfully.

“Tha’s cuz ‘e ain’t a midget, look!! Lee’d tower over this bloke!” He continued.

“Would yea stop it? Yer terrible,” I laughed slapping him playfully on his stomach.

“But it’s wot yea like love,” He grinned before leaning down and connecting our lips together. I smiled at the contact and moved my hands, my fingertips just cupping his face as I moved my lips against his. His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me onto him fully; before wandering up to brush against my breasts.

Footsteps thudded up the stairs and were followed by a swift rat-a-tat-tat on my bedroom door. I pulled away quickly and straightened my hair before calling out in response. “The phone’s fer yea, hun,” My mother’s voice came through slightly muffled, she then opened the door and held out the cordless phone for me.

“Thanks mum,” I smiled brightly as I got up and took the piece of plastic from her.

“No problem dear, do yea two need any more treats?” She questioned glancing over my shoulder at Matt who lay on the bed, watching the movie once more.

“Nah thank yea, Mrs Sing,” He smiled politely.

“Yer such a polite boy,” She clucked before leaving, closing the door behind her.

I rolled my eyes at my mother before pressing my phone to my ear, “Ello?”

Two months an’ I ‘aven’t ‘eard from yea! Two months? Yer betta o’been dyin’ yer bloodeh git!

“June, is tha yea?” I gasped into the phone crawling onto my bed and crossing my legs.

Nah, is Jesus. O’course is meh, yer bloomin’ idiot!” She shouted.

“I missed you too,” I cooed, a giant grin taking over my face.

Yer betta ‘ave, is bloodeh gloomeh ‘ere wit out yea,” She mumbled.

“I’m sorry I’ve not kept better contact wit yer hun, but things ‘ave kinda been ‘ectic. I barely knew it was October,” I assured her.

Ay, wot’s tha bloke’s name luv?” She questioned after a moments hesitation.

“Actually, it’s a bigger story than tha’,” I mused sending a quick glance at Matt who was watching me curiously.

Oh well then, I reckon I got tha best news yer ever ‘eard. Yea’ll get ta tell meh all ‘bout yer two months, face ta face; as mi mum’s movin’ ta Sheffield!” She screamed the last bit excitedly.

“No way!”

Yus way, so uh… yea’ll ‘ave ta beh burdened ba ma presense…” She sighed deeply.

“Oh, tha’s alright love, I guess there’s space ‘ere for yea,” I played along, even looking under my fingernails out of habit.

Oh luv, I missed yer,” She cooed.

“An’ I yea, when yer gettin’ ‘ere?” I questioned.

Nex’ week, tis long wait but mum ‘as ta do ‘er las’ day at ‘er lame arse job,” She murmured, in the background I heard noise that caused her to sigh for real, “Right then, I best be goin’ mum’s makin’ meh pack alreadeh, is redonculous if yea ask meh,” She stated.

“Bye love, I’ll see yea in a week,” I grinned.

Ay, an’ make sure thurs a parteh for meh ta attend as soon as bloomin’ possible,”

“Yea got it,” I nodded.

Bye luv,” With that she hung up and I took a deep breath before doing the same.

Grinning I turned to Matt, “Wot’s tha’ ‘bout?” He questioned.

“Ma best mate June is movin’ up ‘ere!” I cheered happily.

He smiled softly, “I’ve neva seen yer lit up like this,” He stated taking my chin in his hands, “If this June will keep yer glowin’ like this, than Imma fall in love,” He chuckled.

“Wit ma best mate?” I inquired skeptically.

“Nah, course not, with yea,” He breathed before he pressed his lips flush against mine. I chuckled lightly at what he had said before that, and surprising even myself; wasn’t afraid of the meaning those words held. I kind of felt proud for not freaking out.

I'm sorry it's a little bit late. I had an unexpected weekend of plans and wasn't prepared before hand. That'll teach me to stop procastinating. =)
