Chapter 1

(Mercury poV)

“ZACHARY JAMES BAKER YOU GET YOUR PUDGY ASS OVER HERE.” I yelled running down the hall in my fucking towel, chasing after my laughing brother. He ran into his room and shut the door just as I got there.

My hand hit the door just as it closed and I leaned my damp head against it. Fuck.

“Zacky why are you so mean to me?” I whined from behind the door as I heard his snickers.

He’s 22 fucking years old, the guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold and yet he still finds the time to pick on me.

I groaned before I turned around to run all the way downstairs to the laundry room to get new clothes. I came face to face with Brian Haner. My heart stopped as I gazed into his chocolate eyes that had a playful glint and his sexy lips were curled into a smirk. Why did he have to be 4 years older than me?!

Damnit Mercury you snap out of it right now! I blinked surprised and I regained my breathing.

“Dude, don’t sneak up on me like that!” I said as he laughed. I frowned and shook my wet hair at him.

“Aww! you got me all wet.” He fake pouted.

“That’s what she said Brian!” I smirked back.
He leaned down his face in mine and he said.

“No that’s what you said.” He started laughing and I gave him a fake glare and hit his arm. They were so toned and muscular.

He didn’t even realize what he just did to me when he said that. My face heated up and my heart rate increased. I went down the stairs and I saw Matt, Jimmy and Johnny.

Well he just fucking invited over the whole gang.

“Hi! Bye!” I said quickly as I rushed into the laundry room. I picked out fresh clothes and I changed into what I could find before running back into my room to do my makeup and get my necklaces.

I always wore my “M” Necklace because Brian bought me that for my 9th birthday. I’ve cherished it since. It’s my only piece of him; I wouldn’t know what to do if something were to happen to it.

I walked back downstairs fully ready for my first day of senior year. I saw my brother in the kitchen laughing with Jimmy over coffee and my eyes narrowed. Why were they even up at this ungodly hour of 6:30 am?! I’ll tell you, they love to piss me off. Except for Johnny, he was my favorite since we were both little shits. I also saw Val next to Matt. I fucking love Val she’s awesome.

“Mercury! You’re hot!” Val squealed at my outfit. Zacky came out to see over my outfit and he scanned it over.

“Pick a new shirt.” He mumbled walking out. I opened my mouth to yell at him but Val got it for me.

“Zachary she can wear what she god damn pleases! And if it weren’t for you stealing her clothes this morning she would be wearing a different shirt!” He looked defeated and Val and I smirked.

“Thanks Val.” I said walking to get breakfast.

“Anytime girl!” She said before she smacked Matt for giving her a weird look. It was so hilarious when Val lectured him.

“My little shit is all growed up now!” Johnny mocked grabbing me and squeezing me to death.

“Ugh! Johnny I love you and all but you’re crushing me!” I yelled and he let go.

“She may be your little shit, but you’re ours Johnny boy!” Zacky said ruffling up Johnny’s Mohawk.

“Fuck off me…” He mumbled swatting away Zacky’s hands, and pouting.

“He’s just an asshole Johnny-pie.” I cooed.

“Yea…” He mumbled like a child and I re-spiked his hair with my hands.

“All better.” He just smiled at me before I heard Jimmy gasp. I looked to see Jimmy with an open mouth, and mine dropped as well.

“Mercury my darling!” He yelled.

“Jimmy my love!” I yelled back and we ran for each other.
He scooped me up and spun me around.

“My favorite sister is all dolled up for junior year!” He said looking at my outfit.

“You look Fabulous!” He commented and I rolled my eyes.

“Thanks Jim. And if you don’t mind me asking. Why are you all here?”
They gave me devious looks, even Val.

“Well my little girl, we are taking you to school.” Brian said smirking at me and they all began to laugh when they say my horrified expression.

“GUYS!” I whined and Zacky threw Matt the keys.

“Come on Mer!” Zacky called like he was cooing at a baby. I smacked the back of his head and crossed my arms, walking out the door with an angry pout expression.
Brian linked arms with me and tried to get me to skip to the car.

“You know you want to get in a car with the 5 hot guys of Avenged Sevenfold and Val so said hot guys of Avenged Sevenfold and Val can take you to school.”
Brian you seriously don’t know what you do to me.

“Fuck you.” I said continuing to pout.

“Well im sorry it has to be this way.” He said smirking before he threw my blue and black Hurley bag to Matt and threw me over his shoulders.

“Brian!”

He put me in the seat and buckled my seatbelt.

“I still don’t get why you guys treat me like im five. I can put on my own seat belt Brian!”

“Because you are little. And little people are special.”

“YOU GUYS TREAT ME LIKE SHIT ALL THE TIME!” Johnny protested from the front door as he locked it.

“YOU’RE NOT CUTE!” Matt yelled back laughing and Johnny mumbled something like

“Assholes” under his breath. They all piled in the car and Matt started the engine.

“Are you ready?” Zacky teased.

“Fuck you…”
