Keep the Pain Away. . .

I was about to push Alice away but she released me. I rubbed my arm in an uncomfortable gesture. Alice's gold eyes searched my face but i averted my gaze from hers and slipped off the cold table that i had been currently laying on.

It almost felt as if someone was poking about in my head. Out of a protective way. i shut my mind down so i was only meet with an eerie sense of numbness. Everything was locked up and hidden. I looked over to the other people in the room. Alice looked at me briefly then gave a smile. "This is Bella, Edward, and Jasper." She pointed them out with a simple kindness.

I waved a hello before letting my gaze travel around the room. The little lam in the corner didn't provide much light for the far eds of the room, so i just gave up and started walking stiffly towards the door.

Someone grabbed my arm gently but forcefully that i didn't appreciate to much. I swung around with my hand clenched into a fist
