Katy Ann Farmer, a country girl from a small town near Nashville, Tennessee was living her dreams in Chicago, Illinois. For the most part she was happy with her life until she was diagnosed with a strange and never before seen strain of pneumonia. Now she is dying and nothing is helping or working. She stops taking her medication to help convince herself that she is ready to die. Planning to end it all, she travels back to her home town and stumbles upon someone who may just be worth her fighting for her life. As she begins to fall in love with this man she finds it may be harder than she originally thought to let go of everything she has on Earth and die.
