The Glass Castle

Senay Howards has lived her eighteen years of life in the country not far from the port of Gretchen. Her father, a wealthily Lord, buys and trades war weaponry for the Kingdom, and has provided a fortunate childhood for her and her sister. But there are darker things that hang in her family's theoretical closet. Like her older sister being sold to Persian merchants in order to make up for lost shipments, and therefore lost money. And her Uncle. A menacing man that convinces Senay's powerful father to help him gain the ultimate purchase over the land: Royalty. When news reaches Uncle that the queen has fallen ill, he seeps his manipulative fangs into her father mind, persuading him into another horrible dealing. Senay volunteers, trying to save her younger sister from the horrors ahead, and then Senay is sent away to live in the Castle, with one not-so-simple task ringing in her ears: Become Queen. Under normal circumstances this assignment would be absurd, but with the King being a young, powerful man of danger and fear, the undertaking is impossible. How does one go about seducing a King?
