Chapter 17 - Isabue's POV
At the end of Home room Simon pulled me aside,
"Bue tell me,"
"Tell you what?" I tried to make it look like I wasn't hiding anything,
"What you haven't been telling me, I know your hiding something."
"Can I talk about this later," I said and ducked around him, I still couldn't believe he was holding hands with Taleah, I still didn't trust her. I had seen her hanging around with Luke and Serina for a few days last term, but didn't think much of it till now, I had my Physics book with me so I didn't have to go back to my locker. I headed towards Conner's locker. He was standing there with a guy called Jimmy. Jimmy was a good guy, I like him. When I walked up I wound my fingers with Conner's and said hello to Jimmy,
"Hey Izzy," Jimmy was one of those people that like to be original and so instead of Bue, I was Izzy.
"What do you have first?" I asked him making conversation,
"Gym, which I don't want to do." he said with a sigh,
"Can't be that bad," I said with a smile,
"Yeah say that after you do half an hour of track," He laughed and opened his locker,
"Conner," I whispered, he leaned down, "I think Taleah is in on it,"
"Bue, I don't see why you think they are doing it, you said it yourself, Michael wouldn't do it, he is already with Serina," Conner said with a sigh. The bell rang for first class to start,
"Fine Conner, if that’s the way you want to be about it, I’ll see you later." I felt like shit for what I was doing too my two best friends. I walked into Physics, I was late and Mr. Crane gave me a detention for it. I saw Luke watching me as I sat down. Simon was sitting next to Taleah so I sat by myself his lesson. And I couldn't have felt any worse.
