Returning to You

Jessica’s POV
I moved to go back into the room when the door opened and Brian stepped out. Looking at me he raised a brow in enquiry and asked
“who was that?” he asked and I smiled
“my best friend” Brian pouted
“I thought I was your best friend?” I laughed and shook my head
“no you’re my best guy friend but Hannah is my best girl friend, well Val comes in a close second but Hannah and I have done a lot together” Brain nodded and asked curiously
“so why did she ring you?” I grinned looking up at him as I bounced on the balls of my feet
“she rang to tell me she’s coming to visit and I offered for her to stay at mine while she’s here” Brian nodded and smiled
“well I hope she has a good time, we’ll have to take her out and show her a good time” I snorted
“ha-ha Brian, more like she’ll show you a good time, that girl is crazy, like Jimmy crazy without the destroying everything part” Brian laughed
“wow she sounds interesting” I smirked
“oh she is and believe me we will all be having a great time while she’s here”
“how did you meet her anyway?” he asked
“oh she is a photographer and I’m a writer so we worked together on some pieces before, she’s not signed to a newspaper or anything she just likes to take pictures so she does” Brian nodded and I looked behind him
“have you guys finished in there?” Brian nodded
“yeah I finished my parts” I nodded
“ok well I left my purse in there, I’ll just get it then we can go” he nodded and I reached and pulled the door open but I had to step back as several bodies feel forwards at my feet.
Looking down I grinned at the sheepish faces
“you guys hear anything good?” they all shook their heads and I raised a brow
“Hannah won’t like that” I then brought my foot up and actually stepped on the pile of bodies making them groan as I walked over them and into the room. Val was laughing at the situation from her place in a chair and I grinned at her and winked as I grabbed my purse then turning around I did the same thing to get out making more groans of pain come from them and few curses. Once I was out I turned and blew them some kisses
“bye guys, I’ll see you tomorrow” I then took Brian’s hand and ran out of there laughing.

The next morning I woke to my phone ringing. With a groan I reached over onto my bed side table and picked up my phone, flipping it open I answered groggily
“what’s up?” I heard a scream and quickly pulled the phone away from my ear. Once it was over I pulled it back to my ear and listened as Hannah spoke
“I got a flight for today so I should be there tomorrow, is that ok?” I laughed
“yes Hannah it’s fine, don’t worry I’m looking forwards to seeing you, just text me before you land and I’ll come and pick you up”
“good, now I’ll let you go back to sleep” I laughed
“bye Hannah”
“see ya!” the dial tone sounded and I shut my phone before I snuggled back into my covers and went back to sleep.
I was putting some things in the guest room ready for when Hannah got there when the doorbell sounded. Walking down stairs I opened the door and Brian stepped in and walked past me into the sitting room without even saying hello. I raised a brow but followed him and I entered the room to find him sat down on the sofa with his head in his hands.
“Oh no don’t mind me, I only own the place” I said with sarcasm making Brian groan
“sorry Jessica but I have a lot on my mind” I frowned and moved over and sat beside him on the sofa
“oh yeah? What’s going on?” Brian groaned then looked up at me, he looked stressed
“the guys and I need a way to market the album, it has to be different than we’ve done before but none of us have ideas, well Jimmy had the idea of using Willy Wonka’s television idea and having a CD you can take out of the TV” I snorted
“sounds like Jimmy” Brian nodded, reaching up I rubbed his back “I don’t see the problem though but I have an idea” Brian looked at me expectantly
“really? Oh thank god, tell me” I chuckled then shrugged
“just make a video, you know of you guys in the studio messing around and recording some stuff, kinda like a behind the scenes but at the studio and not the stage” Brian stared at me a moment before he engulfed me in a hug
“that is a great idea!” I laughed and felt it as Brian seemed to relax.
Sitting Back Brian looked around before he frowned and asked
“who would film it? I mean none of us can” I laughed
“well I can’t, I can’t work a camera and Val won’t want to, it would be another thing on her long list and it’s too much for her, my friend Hannah night though” Brian raised a brow
“Hannah that’s coming from England Hannah?” I nodded
“yeah she’s always looking for work and I now she would love an opportunity like this to work with a band plus she’s good with any kind of camera so she would be great at the job” Brian nodded then pulled out his phone
“let me just ask the guys about it” I nodded and settled back into the sofa while he spoke
“hey guys”
“yeah Jess had an idea, she thinks we should do a video of us in the studio”
“I know it’s a good idea”
“she said her friend will do it”
“I don’t know how good she is but we can find that out”
“Jess thinks she’s good for it”
“hey I do not!”
“I’ll tell Val on you”
“you can’t threaten me with short shit, I can step on him”
“yeah ok, yeah thanks guys, bye”
I looked at him expectantly and he grinned
“they think it’s a good idea and can’t wait to meet her” I smiled
“god because she gets here tomorrow” Brian glared at me
“you wait till now to tell me?” I laughed
“yes I did, now are you staying here or are you going back to the studio” Brian shook his head
“I’m staying here” I grinned
“good then go and get a blanket and choose a film” Brain rolled his eyes
“yes oh master” he bowed and I kicked him playfully though he grabbed my foot and tickled me lightly making me giggle and squirm before he dropped it and did as I said.
Coming back in he put the DVD in the player then came and sat next to me pulling the blanket over us as we settled in to watch the film.
By the end of the film though we had both fallen asleep, cuddled together.
