Returning to You

Zacky’s POV
2 weeks later
I sighed as I listened to the latest message
“Zacky baby, take me back please, I’m sorry I made a mistake, I shouldn’t have gone off on that girl like that and I’m sorry I cheated, it was a total one night thing and I meant nothing from it, I can’t believe I did it, please forgive me baby, you know I love you” the message ended then and I scrubbed the heels of my palms over my eyes.
Gena had been leaving messages for me all week begging me to take her back and then she and Michelle would show up at the studio and Gena would plead with me while Michelle would try and flirt with Brian or one of the tech guys in the hopes of making him jealous though it didn’t work, anyone could see he was smitten with Jessica and I think that’s why Michelle hates her.
I sighed and leaned back in my chair before picking up the beer by my side and taking a mouthful. I had been miserable these past weeks falling into a semi depression because I just couldn’t understand what had gone wrong, I hadn’t changed but I knew that Gena had, she had gone from a sweet girl to a bitch but I just don’t know when it started, I had searched through all my memories but I just couldn’t name a time and place it had happened. I really loved Gena and it was over now and I won’t take her back, I can’t take her back after she cheated on me.
Looking around the studio room I see the guys each talking as we got the last of Brian’s pieces recorded. Jessica was sat there watching him with a small smile on her face, that girl was just as smitten with Brian though it seemed both were intent to keep it as friends for the moment, I knew from Jimmy that Brian had been sleeping around her house lately, telling Jimmy that he fell asleep there while they were doing something. Jessica always came to the studio when she had nothing o do and she actually took interest in what we were doing and heck she even helped, she was very interesting in the technical side as well, often asking the tech what he was doing and what it would do. She seemed to make everyone feel welcome and included, Gena had never done that.
A tone sounded through the room and everyone looked around wondering what it was and Jessica got up with a sheepish smile
“sorry guys, that was my phone, I forgot to put it on vibrate, I’ll just take this outside” we all nodded and I watched as she stepped out with Brian staring after her while everyone got back to their conversations and I went back to sipping on my beer moodily.
Jessica’s POV
Looking down at the caller ID on my phone I saw that it was a long distance call, frowning I flipped it open and answered
“hello? Who is this?” I heard a laugh and a playful
“how can you not know who it is?” I thought a moment before my brain clicked the voice and I squealed in excitement
“oh my god Hannah!!!” I heard a laugh
“yes it’s me you idiot! Who else would it be?” I chuckled
“various people Hannah, I know more people than you and my phone just said it was a long distance call” Hannah huffed
“well that sucks though I did get to surprise you” I laughed
“yeah, it’s great hearing from you, what’s up?” I asked knowing she had to have a reason for calling me
“well” she said and I could imagine her picking at a thread on her jeans “I just so happen to be coming to America soon” I gasped and grinned silly to myself
“you’re coming here?”
“yeah and I wanna know where you are so I can visit you!” I chuckled
“Hannah, you don’t have to visit me, you can come and stay with me, I have a spare room for you”
“Really?!” she asked and I chuckled again
“yes really, you can, no trouble plus I haven’t seen you in ages and I miss you” I pouted
“aww don’t pout at me”
“how in the hell did you know I was pouting?!” Hannah chuckled
“I know you dear now tell me what state you’re in” I sighed
“I’m in Huntington Beach California Hannah so you would have to get a flight to the John Wayne airport” I heard Hannah groan
“Jess that’s a place that’s really sunny!” I laughed then smiled at someone who walked past then I leaned against the wall
“yes Hannah there is sun so your pale ass skin will just have to be covered in sun cream because well it’s too hot for long t-shirts and stuff” Hannah groaned again
“no! Why? You live to torture me” I chuckled
“yes I do so book your flight and get here so I can torture you easier”
“yeah yeah hold your hair on, I’ll book it soon, I’ll let you know the details”
“good”
“right yeah well I got to go to work now so I’ll talk to you later ok?” I grinned
“yeah see you later Hannah”
“mwah!” she kissed the phone at me then hung up.
I closed my phone and chuckled, Huntington was about to get a new resident and the guys were gonna be meeting one crazy girl.
