Letting Go

I’ve stopped dreaming about you.

I guess I should be relieved, in a way.

This way, I won’t be expecting you to be there when I wake up.

I still miss you, though.

It’s easier to miss you now that I’m on tour again, if that makes any sense.

That way, I’m not the only one.

I’m not alone.

Everyone misses something on tour.

Tonight we’re in Florida, and we have the day off tomorrow, so I can see my family.

I’m excited to see everyone, even though I know I’ll feel something’s missing the entire time.

Even surrounded by my family, and even with performing in front of all these adoring fans nearly every night, it’s still weird.

I guess what it comes down to, is…I’m lonely.
