Say Goodbye to the Light, Say Hello to the Night

We soon stopped and returned to running. It's a pity we didn't have more time to prepare. We could have been more well feed and perhaps have more strength. We got to Idaho at around 2am it didn't take as long to get to Idaho State Penitentiary. The stench of werewolf was over powering you could tell they were using this place as a hang out. We approached the building with caution ready to attack at a moments notice.

“What do you want?” a voice asked
“We want to talk to the head of your pack” James said
“I'm the head of the pack” The large dog said
“Let us talking in human form” James said

The dog soon morphed into a man he was around James age but more built.

“What do you want to talk about blood sucker?”
“We have been sent by the council to ask that you lay low your activities have caused quite a stir”
“And why should we listen?”
“Because your putting as all at danger if we were discovered it would destroy our world”
“Please consider returning to Morok Dah for awhile” Gloria spoke up
“We have tried but we can't get back” a female wolf appeared
“I can help” I stepped forth
“Your only young” the woman said “You couldn't find the Morok Dah if it bit you in the behind”
“I have power and knowledge with a few simple ingredients I can create a direct portal but you should be warned things have changed entering and leaving have become difficult after you know what occurred”
“The Myronmore changed everyone we've all become cautious but our young are becoming uncontrollable” the head wolf spoke
“Give me 3 days and I should be able to find what I need I'll return here and open a portal where the humans will not see it” I said
“Thank you little one it would be appreciated” the woman nodded
“Please try to lay low for the next few days Bronx and Asher will bring you food, James and Gloria will go tell the council our plan while Reuben, Maria and Grace sit guard” I looked

James nodded and ran off with Gloria to the council while the wolfs moved back into the walls of the prison. Bronx and Asher went to get food while Reuben, Maria and Grace began to survey the area. I left to find the items need to open the direct portal to Morok Dah.

OPENING A DIRECT PORTAL TO ANYWHERE

Ingredients
An item of the place you want to travel to
4 lily seeds
1 Lizards leg
1 Cats tongue
5 drops on rose scent
1 vial of Humans blood

Steps
1. Put humans blood into cauldron or large bowl half full of water
2. Add cats tongue and mix of 5 minutes
3. Boil for 20 minutes
4. Add 1 drop of Rose scent with lizards leg and sit for an hour
5. Add 2 lily seeds with 2 drops of rose scent
6. Boil for 10 minutes
7. Add remaining Lilly seeds and rose scent
8. Add item of the place you want to go
9. place mix into small vials
10. Break a vial to open portal

Making a potion was like following a recipe or at least that’s what the witches said. Getting the items I needed would be difficult considering where I was I had no idea where anything was. My first step was to explore the area to see if I could find any of the things I needed. Human blood was the easiest to find so that I would get first.

Because night still covered the city I was able to run to a group of near by houses and find an open window. In a matter of 10 minutes I had 5 vials of blood. I returned to the jail where I found a nice cold room where the blood would keep. I placed the vials down before putting my senses to use I could smell a pie from 3 city's away finding the rest of the ingredients should be easy. There was a slight breeze so different smells were mixed but I could tell one from the other. The first scent I picked up was a cat 3 yards away. I found it in no time. Considering the tongue is the fastest healing organ there was no need to kill the animal I simple stunned it found the end of its tongue and cut his tongue right out. I slipped it in my pocket and got back to the jail just as the sun was rising. I placed the tongue with the blood and went to see the leader of the pack.

“Sir I'm sorry to disturb you but I need your help” I said
“Please call me Gideon” he spoke
“Gideon you and your wife know this city better then I” I said “I ask your help to find the ingredients I need”
“What do you need little one?” Gideons wife appeared
“I need a lizards leg, lily seeds, and rose scent”
“You should be able to find a Lizard with the walls of the jail, if you wait until night fall I'll take you to the lily's and Roses” Gideon said
“Thank you” I bowed and left to scour the grounds

Reuben, Grace, Maria keep your eyes peeled for lizards if you see one catch it for me I thought before beginning my own search. It would take forever to find a lizard by myself so to have my boyfriend and sisters with me it would make life easier.

“Hay sir you can't go in there”
Uh oh
“Who are you calling sir”
I rounded the corner to a young male human in baggy jeans and a black singlet trying to get past Reuben.
“Reuben did you find Rex yet?” I walked up
“No” Reuben looked at me confused
“Hi I'm Willow this is my boyfriend Reuben” I smiled and held out my hand
“I don't care who you are I just want to get inside the jail”
“Why?” I asked putting curious eyes on
“Uh because it's creepy looking and I hear it's haunted” the guys said
“Well if you leave me your number I'll call you as soon as we have finished the restoration you can be the first person in” Reuben said
“I want in now”
“Reuben
“On it babe”

Reuben picked the guy up by the neck of his shirt guided him away from the property. I giggled and waited for him to return. After 10 minutes and a lot of yelling Reuben walked back over.

“So” I asked
“So his not coming back” Reuben smiled “Who the hell is Rex?”
“I made him up I was really asking if you had found a lizard” I giggled
“Well I haven't”
“Get back to it while I continue my search” I smiled

I walked off into the grounds figuring if I had any chance of finding a lizard I would have to find long grass. Which led me to the work yard where there was enough sun light but also high grass. Bingo lizard central I could hear them but I couldn't see them they were in the shadows out of sight. It didn't take me long to find them I was running left and right back and forth but failed to catch anything.

“Your useless blood sucker”
“Like to see you do better mutt”
“That a challenge”
“Bring it”

I just had to open my big mouth. Every time I would jump for a lizard the fluff ball would knock me side ways before digging where the lizard had run. After 20 minutes the was a yelp of pain and the mutt appeared with a lizard hanging from its mouth.

“You better not have broken the legs” I walked over
“I chopped the head” he dropped the body
“Good boy”
“Hay I'm not a dog” the wolf morphed
“My your younger then I thought”
“I'm 200 years old”
“I meant you look around 16” I said
“I'm 17” he said
“Close enough” I said “You know for a werewolf your handsome”
“Your not half bad yourself”
“I'm sure there is a nice lady in Morok Dah just waiting to scope you up” I smirked before picking up the lizard and walking to the cool room

I spent the rest of the day searching the prison kitchen for something to mix the potion in as well as seeing if the stove still worked. Unfortunately the gas wasn't turned on so I was going to have to buy some matches and gather some sticks. By the time I was finished in the kitchen night had fallen and Gideon was ready to show me where the last 2 ingredients were. Gideon led and I followed we soon arrived at a rose garden. I picked 5 roses before we left off for the lily's. Gideon took me to a local park where there was a lily pond I picked the lily seeds. Gideon and I headed back to the jail where I had to get the rose scent. Before I could do anything I needed a fire and for a fire I would need wood and matches as well as a place I could start a fire with out burning the building down. I had to run to the nearest shop to get matches then run back to the prison. I collected sticks on my way back. Upon reaching the prison I moved to the work out yard where I placed the sticks in a neat pile before deciding the night was cool enough to move the ingredients to the yard. I light the fire and placed a pot over it on chair that was just the frame. I filled 1/3 of the pot with water before letting it boil. I skipped around work out yard looking at all the old rusted junk left behind. As I waited I heard someone approach and smelt the stench of dog.

“What do you want?” I asked rather harsh
“I just wanted to see if you needed any help” the wolf morphed
“Oh it's you again” I said
“My names Jeremy not you” he said
“Sorry Jeremy” I said
“Your pots boiling over” he nodded towards the pot
“Oh crap” I ran to it

I dropped the roses into it and grabbed a stick to stir it with. It was important that I keep an eye on the roses at this point.

“Can you teach me how to make the potion?” Jeremy asked
“I don't see why not” I shrugged
“Where did you learn it?” Jeremy asked
“The witches” I said calm
“How the witches don't help anyone but there own?”
“I'm currently in training with the witches along with other species I make regular trips to Morok Dah to well I can't say” I said
“Why not?”
“The plans only in a trial faze I can tell you that I'm not the only one” I said
“Government stuff” Jeremy sighed
“Yep”
“What are you doing?”
“I'm getting the rose scent by boiling the roses until I have rose water it's a substitute when you need the ingredient fast”
“I see”

I boiled the roses until they were colourless. I moved the liquid into a vial and sat it aside. I got a need pot half filled with water to replace the previous one and began the potion. I explained to Jeremy as I went what I was doing, Jeremy took quite an interest in the potion. He watched every movement while handing me anything I required. When the time came to let the brew sit for an hour Jeremy ran off to hunt while I stayed to stir the brew to stop it from going solid. The human blood would go crusty then we'd all be in trouble. By the end of the hour Jeremy was back. It took us all of an 30 minutes to finish off the potion.

We took the vials to Gideon who seemed please that the portal would soon be open. We only had one problem the sun was rising we would have to wait for night to fall in 12 hours before opening the portal. Also I was hungry I needed to feed it would be dangerous but without a feed I wouldn't be able to open the portal. It was agreed we would wait for night.
