When I Turned the Television On

It's About Time.

When I Turned The Television On.

| Alice Midorikawa |

It's all too much.

I really can't. Anymore.

"Seth..."

I cringe for saying his name out loud.

Just the thought of him makes me angry all the time.
It just... it just makes me want to kill him.

He's too spoiled already.
He keeps on arguing with Aiden whenever there would be a partner project.

He mustn't continue that bratty attitude of his.

Or he... might die someday.

--

"...pick your partners!"

"Alice!"
"No! Listen to me, Alice!"

I shake uncontrollably, my body tremulous under the pressure.

I CANNOT.

"Shut the hell up will you, Evans? I told you Alice is mine. You hear me? Mine."
"Well, she's mine too, Paver. Go away."

Seth looks away and nods his head.

"So that's what you think..."

I catch a glimpse of Seth's hand clenching into a fist.

NO!

"How about this, you bastard?!"

Seth punches Aiden's face, knocking him down on the floor.
Aiden, hurt by the blow, rubs his face in pain.
The students, including the teacher, all glance at Seth with a terrified expression on their faces.

They didn't even bother to help Aiden up on his feet.
Not even Renn.

I look at Seth in horror.

"WHAT IN GOD'S NAME DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!!!"

I rise from my chair and glare at him.

"You... you!!"

I slap his face so hard it left a red mark on his cheek.

"You will regret having done that to Aiden!!!"

I quickly grab my bag on the floor and scurry out of the classroom.

My heart was filled with anger.
Hatred.
Murder.

I ball my hand into a fist and punch the corridor wall.

DAMN YOU, SETH.
YOU'LL SEE...
YOU'LL SEE THAT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO WAKE UP FROM YOUR DREAMS.

EVER AGAIN.
