Minnie put on her perfect smile and walked into the room with the new long term care patient. His eyes were closed, but Minnie checked his vitals and his chart.
He was gorgeous as Taylor had told Nicky. His hair was wavy, dark and clean. Minnie always loved dark hair. His eyes started to flutter and Minnie stepped back a little bit. When his eyes where fully open, Minnie flashed him all thirty two of her early whites.
“Hello Joshua, my name is Minnie, I am your Nurse while you are here.”
Something flashed in his eyes. His eyes darted down to her stomach and then to her face.
“Minnie from ‘Keep Breathing’?” he asked, his eyes wide. Minnie’s head shot up and she looked at him with questioning eyes. Minnie slowly nodded. “Minnie. My nurse is the woman whose blog I’ve been reading for almost two years.” Josh grinned like a cheshire cat. Minnie was speechless.
“I’m sorry, am I making this awkward?” he asked, then started coughing. Minnie patted his back softly and then scurried to the sink to pour him a glass of water. This was going to be odd.
