Love Makes Blind

New Eyes.

Paul stared into Elia’s eyes for a long time. He was about to explode in happiness over her reaction, pleased that it wasn’t like the last time. Paul took a step back before he let a shiver run from the top of his spine and to his feet. He picked up his pants before he looked up at Elia. She was staring at his chest with an expression Paul had never seen on her face before.
Was it lust?

Paul bent down and picked up his t-shirt from the grass, but as he was about to pull it over his head Elia raised her hand and stopped him.
“Don’t put it on.” She said and finally met his eyes.
Paul did as she said and dropped it. He put his hands on both sides of her face and kissed her deeply, getting a feeling that he never wanted to let go of her.

Elia wrapped her arms around Paul’s waist to be as close to him as possible. She was breathing heavily when Paul moved his lips from her mouth and let them hover over her cheek.

Elia pulled Paul over to the blanket and made him sit down before she sat down over him, straddling his waist. Elia let her hands roam over Paul’s chest, feeling every inch of it under her hands.
Paul smirked and tried to push her down on the blanket so he could be on top of her, but Elia pushed him down, and still sat on top of him.

Paul stared at her in amazement, with a smirk on his lips. He liked this side of her. To tell the truth, Paul had been a little afraid that the sex with Elia wouldn’t be so good after she could see, because what he liked so much about their relationship was that she used her hands so much. But it seemed like Elia still used her hands, as she looked down at him with lustful eyes and let her hands roam all over his body.

Paul sat up again and wrapped his arms around Elia waist to make her grind on top of him.
“We don’t have any protection…” Elia murmured in Paul’s ear.
“Yes we do, in my pocket.” He answered and kissed her again.
Elia found two condoms in Paul’s pants. “You planned this?” she laughed a little.
“No, but I’m always prepared.” He smirked before pushing her back on the blanket and hovered over her.

“We can’t do it outside.” Elia said worried.
“I’ll hear if anyone comes.” Paul couldn’t care less.
“Yeah, but will you stop?” she wondered.
Paul didn’t answer her; he only smirked and pulled her dress further up her thighs. And after that, Elia didn’t care if God himself had walked into the open field.

^^^

Elia lay with her head on Paul’s heaving chest; he had his arms securely around her. None of them said anything; no words could describe what they were feeling. Paul was happy, no, not happy, blissful, everything had been perfect. His worries about the sex not being as good just seemed stupid now that he lay with his girlfriend beside him.

And Elia was the same. She didn’t want to move away from this place ever. This was perfect. She was on top of the world right now. She had Paul. And in less than a week she would be going to Italy to see all her friends and family again.

On top of the world. Those words described almost everything, really. Elia was seeing everything with new eyes. New eyes she had longed for her whole life, but before she met Paul she didn’t really feel the need to have them. What good could this world possibly bring her? Paul had helped Elia over the last hill to recover from her depression. It all just seemed like a bad dream she had woken up from.

Elia had now realized how much she would have missed if her weak try of ending her life had succeeded. There were all these things she wanted to see and to experience, all of them with Paul by her side. Elia was a little anxious for the upcoming school year. Paul had been accepted at Iowa state university. He would of course come to see Elia as often as he could, but still, Elia would probably miss him more than she could handle.

Another day, she thought, she could worry about that another day.

Paul was here and now. Paul had got his princess and now he could not let her go. He needed her to much. He was frustrated with himself that he was going to college in Iowa, but he had applied before he met Elia, and he couldn’t say no when they had accepted him even when he had failed a whole year. Though he knew Elia just had to tell him not to go and he wouldn’t.

But Elia wasn’t that selfish.
