The Illusive Phoenix

Okay, so I wrote this before I realized there's actually a Phoenix comic character...

This is not the same character!

But I did use her picture because I thought she was pretty and what my character looked like in my head

So... onto the description.

In a world where mythic creatures and humans coexist Aideen "Phoenix" is the only anomaly left. She's the last of the Phoenix clan and while the others before her were content with hiding in the blizzardous mountains Aideen was not. She wanted human contact, but feared that she would be shunned for the bird that existed within her.

Not to mention the fact that her skin was so hot, just the touch of skin on skin would send the receiver into flames.

So she began to hunt at night, capturing the city's most wanted criminals.

Some called her a hero, some insane, and others a vigilante.

But while her work kept her busy, and happy that the scum was off the streets, she still wasn't satisfied.

But that was until the new guy in town arrived.

Declan holds his own secrets, but when he hears about the illusive Phoenix his worries are replaced with avid curiosity.

What happens next?

Well, I guess we'll find out.
