Meanwhile, Kadie, Jess and the others are looking at the redheaded female.

“Umm….?” Jess begins, looking at the girl that is currently hiding behind Ash.

“Who are you?” Ash asks, looking over his shoulder at the girl.

“I’m Misty, one of the Cerulean City Gym Leaders. My sisters are going NUTS with the gym, battling in interpretive dances, putting on underwater shows….” The girl says, shaking her head at the horror of what she had just said.

“Good lord…” Kadie says, looking at the girl with sad eyes.

“Are you all…..travelers?” Misty asks, looking at them with questioning eyes.

“Yeah, we are.” Jess says, shrugging like it’s no big deal.

“Oh, can I come with you? Please? I won’t be a bother.” Misty says, looking at them with pleading eyes.

“SURE!” Ash says, turning around so he can see Misty, who is still hiding behind him.

“The more, the merrier!” Brock says with a smile on his face.

“Didn’t I….say that?” Kadie wonders, her eyebrows furrowed as she tries to remember whether she had or not. The group presses on, now with one more member, into Cerulean City.
