Seize The Day

It had been weeks since my uncle had come back.

My family was together and happy.

I was passing all of my classes with flying colors.

I talked to Val and the guys every other day.

Life was going really good for me.

I was walking up the stairs of my apartment when my phone rang.

I opened it without looking and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked, trying not to drop anything in my hands.

"I know what I want." Brian's voice said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"I know what I want for the bet that you lost." Brian said more clearly.

"And what is it that you want?" I asked, skeptically, opening my door.

"I want you to come on tour with us." He said.

I went silent and didn't say anything.

"Come on, Cee." He urged.

"When is it?" I asked, debating.

"In a week." He said.

"Are you kidding? A week?!" I exclaimed.

"I know it's short notice, but I really want you to come. We all do." He added quickly.

"I don't know, Brian. I have school and work." I said.

"You can take a week off and you can talk to your teachers and have them give you all of your assignments." He said, urging me.

"I have to think about it. I'll call you back when I decide." I told him.

"Alright. Let me know." Brian said his voice full of excitement.

I laughed and hung up.

I laid down on the couch, thinking.

I did want to go on the tour.

From what Val and the guys have told me, it's alot of fun.

Especially with the Avenged guys.

I don't why I'm hesitating.

I don't know how to get past this feeling either.

I thought for a moment and then picked up my phone.

I called Mac and asked for two weeks off.

He instantly agreed, happy that I was going to be having fun.

Then I emailed all of my teachers and asked if they could send me all of my work, via-email.

I went through all of my clothes and packed enough to last me a month even though I was only going for two weeks.

I made sure to call my brothers and let them know what was going on.

I didn't want them to have a spasm if they came by and I wasn't here.

They'd probably send out a search party.

Jonathan was giving me a hard time and grilling me for information.

It was almost an hour before he let me get off the phone, satisfied with the information I gave him.

I hung up the phone with a huge grin on my face.

I smiled and the thought of going on tour with Avenged Sevendfold.

I haven't even been to one of their concerts, not from lack of trying on my part.

This is like a whole new adventure.

It's going to be so much fun.

the best part is going to be everyone's reaction to me going.

I decided to not to call Brian and tell him what I decided on doing.

I was just going to show up on their doorsteps and surprise them.

I laughed at how I imagined they would react.

I looked down at my phone and dialed again.

"Hello my sexy hoe." Emily said with a laugh.

"How would you like to go on tour with Avenged Sevenfold?" I asked casually.

It was silent for a moment before she started screaming down the phone.

"Oh my God! That would be so awesome! I've never been on tour before and I'm so excited! I get to spend time with Zacky too! When are we gonna leave? How long are we going to be there?" She was firing questions off so fast she didn't give me enough time to answer them.

"Hold on, Em. One question at a time." I said, trying to calm her.

I heard her take in a deep breath and I took that as my cue.

"Okay, well it's in a week. I don't know where we're going to be touring. I'm guessing around the U.S. We will most likely be sleeping in the guys tour bus so I'm sure you won't mind bunking with Mr. Zacky Vengeance." I said with a laugh.

I heard her giggle and then she started ranting about clothes, concerts and Zacky.

"Well, about that. They don't know I'm going yet. I told Brian I would give him a call when I decided. But I thought it would be so much better to surprise them and see it first hand. I told you about it because I know Zacky will love the idea of you touring around with him." I said.

I talked with Emily for a while longer and told her to pack and get ready. We would be leaving in about two hours.

I figured if we drove the whole way then we'd make it there before sunset.

I packed the rest of my stuff into my car and headed to the store.

I bought sodas, energy drinks, chips, junk food, and carrots.

I stopped by Emily's house and picker her up as well.

After stuffing her suitcases in the car, we set off.

We talked and ate for the first hour of the ride.

Wondering what being on tour was going ot be like.

I was actually really excited.

I can't wait to see how this goes.

I've always wanted to travel with rock stars.
