Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend

Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend Chapter 11

I was on my way to class in a daze.
Last night felt so surreal.
Josh had broken my heart and I think Matt could fix it.
But did I want that.
I wasn’t over Josh yet, or at all.
I walked into class and took my seat.

(Josh’s Point Of View)

I didn’t go to my classes today.
I emailed my teachers and told them that I was I sick.
I lied motionlessly on the sofa.
Last night was my nightmare came true.
I didn’t cheat on Violet. I wouldn’t even think about it.
Chloe and I go to the same school, sadly. She won’t leave me alone and to make matters worse, she a cheerleader and I’m the caption of the football team.
The last couple of weeks have been horrible, concerning Chloe.
Two nights ago we won a game and we all got pretty trashed.
Chloe followed me back to my dorm with my dorm mates.
She attached me and started to kiss me.
I kissed back. I was too drunk to stop her.
Halfway through I stopped her and kicked her out of the house.
She wouldn’t stop after that.
She kept on chasing after me.
I was going to tell Violet about my mistake but I could find my phone.
Last night Violet came over and tried, once again, to get with me.
Then Violet called.
I had everything under control, until Chloe opened her big mouth.
After that I told her off and slammed the door in her face.
I thought everything was smooth sailing after high school.
I’m going to see her tomorrow.
I need my girl.

(Violet’s Point Of View)

I walked out of class and headed to the cafeteria.
I had only one class. It’s Saturday.
I turned the corner and saw Matt and Maya kissing.
My poor heart was dead now.
He pushed her off of him.
“Maya you have to stop this. I don’t love you, I love Violet. We had a good thing in high school, but now it’s over and you have to move on,”
“Whatever!” she said and walked off.
Matt looked over at me and rushed over. “How much did you see?”
“Everything,”
“Violet, I wouldn’t do that to you,”
“I know. Matt, I think I like you, but I’m not over Josh. I do still love him. Yet, he broke my heart and you might be able to fix it,”
Matt smiled. “I will and I promise you-”
“I know, just promise me that you’ll never lie to me,”
“Promise,” he grinned.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as he pulled me close to him. Matt leaned down and captured my lips.

(Matt’s Point Of View)

I’m the man!
Violet is my girlfriend. After years of wishing it’s finally happened.
I was grinning like an idiot all day.
I was in my dorm lying on my bed looking at the ceiling, smiling.
The door opened and the guys started piling in.
“Hey man what’s up?” Alex asked.
“Yeah, why are you so happy? Got laid?” Jerry joked.
“Was it that hot girl you were talking to the other day?” Ryan asked.
“You mean Maya?” I asked.
“Yeah. She on top of my ‘to do’ list,” he smirked.
“You can have her and no. I’m dating the most amazing girl ever,”
“Who?” they all asked.
“Violet,”
“What?!”
“The freaky purple eyes chick?” Ryan asked slipping a beer.
“Yeah,”
“How did she get with you?”
I sighed and told them what happened.

(Josh’s Point Of View)

I was packing my things as me and my roommate watched the game that was going on.
My phone rang. I picked it up and smiled.
It was Alex.
“What’s up, man?”
“I have some news to tell you,”
“About?”
“Violet … and Matt,”
“What about them?”
“They are dating,”
My heart skipped a beat. “What?” I yelled.
Alex told me the whole story.
We said good bye and I punched the wall.
Matt never gives up.
