Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend

Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend Chapter 26

It’s sucky…

Spring break went by quickly.
Josh and I became friends again and tried to keep it that way.
We knew we still had feelings for each other but push them aside.
We were friends for now.
School got a lot harder and more intense.
Finals and essays were coming up.
Needless to say I was stressing.
Josh and I tried to talk as much as we could but we were both pretty busy.
School was coming to a close and everyone was waiting nervously by their computers.
The teachers were putting up our final grades for the year along with our test grades.
Josh and I were talking through webcam.
“Will you calm down. I know you did fine,”
“But I don’t know that. Five more minutes,” I said looking at the clock.
“Vi, deep breaths,”
I inhaled quickly then let it out.
Josh chuckled as I chewed on my finger nails.
“Relax, babe – er – Vi, you’ll did fine,”
I tensed when he called me babe. He’s been doing that a long lately.
He did call me babe a lot when we were dating.
“I’m calm. It’s time!” I squealed and went to my schools grading website.
I quickly typed everything in and pressed enter.
“Come on!” I whined.
Josh laughed at me as the page fully loaded.
“Yes!” I shouted. “All A’s baby,”
Josh clapped. “See,”
I grinned. “Thanks. You were right,”
“When am I wrong?” he joked.
I laughed. “Well there was that one time…”
We laughed and started to talk again.
Later on the girls and I celebrated our good grades with a little party with the guys.
We all crashed in the living room.
We were woken up to a knock on the door.
I think it was Lynn who got up to answer it.
“Oh my gosh!” she squealed. “Vi, wake up!”
“I’m up!” I said standing up slowly. I looked at the door and there was Josh.
