Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend

Boyfriend's Ex Best Friend Chapter 6

The next morning Max and I woke up and got ready for today.
Josh was leaving today.
And we get to meet our roommates.
We headed down to the cafeteria to get our breakfast.
Once we had our breakfast we sat down at an empty table.
“Hey ladies,” Alex said walking over to us.
“Hey, Alex,” we smiled.
“Save us a seat,” he said walking to get his lunch.
We nodded our heads as we continued our conversation.
Alex, Jerry and another boy joined us, at the table.
“Hey, boys,” I smiled.
“And mister tall dark and handsome,” Max said smiling at him.
He smiled. “I’m their roommate, Vince,”
“Nice to meet you,” I smiled. “I’m Violet, an old friend of there’s,”
“And I’m her roommate, Maxine, but call me Max,”
“Nice to meet you two,”
We smiled and continued to eat.
Matt joined us shortly after.
It felt like old times again, with half the group from high school.
Once everyone was done eating we left and went our separate ways.
I was going to meet Josh at the airport.
I took the taxi there and called him, letting him know I was coming.
“Can you wait here?” I asked the taxi man.
“Sure,” he said nodding his head.
I ran into the airport and I found Josh instantly.
He was standing by the front desk.
I jogged over to him. “Josh,” he turned around and smiled at me.
“Violet,” he smiled.
“Hey,”
“Here you go sir, your flight leaves in twenty minutes,” The man behind the desk said.
“Thanks,” Josh smiled.
We walked together to the gate.
I gave Josh a long hug and kiss good bye.
We waved to each other and I watched as Josh walked away from me.
I sighed and walked out of the airport and hopped in the taxi.

Max and I were making our dorm a little more homey.
Our room was done and now we with our room and now we were in the living room.
There was a light knocking on the door.
“Coming,” I said Max ran over to the door singing. “They’re here,”
I opened the door and saw two girls.
“Hey,” we smiled.
“Hi, I’m Lynn and this is Danni,” she said smiling.
“Nice to meet you,” Max said. “I’m Maxine, call me Max, and this is Violet,”
“Need help?” I asked.
“Yes, please,” Danni said handing me a bag.
Max and I helped the girls unpack and get settled in.
Shortly after their parents came by and made sure they were okay.
Max and I finished fixing the living room and made our way to the kitchen.
“What are you guys doing?” asked Lynn.
“We’re trying to make this place feel more like home,” Max said.
“Need help?” Danni asked.
“Yeah, sure,” I smiled.
The four off us cleaned and beautified the dorm.
By the time we were done, it was eight at night.
“Pizza anyone?” Max asked.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Danni said.
We walked to the pizza place near by the campus.
We ordered a lager cheese pizza and sat down at a booth and talked.
We got to know each other and had a good time.
“Hey, ladies,” we looked up and there were the boys.
“Hey, guys,”
“Can we join you,”
“Sure, grabbed a chair,” I said moving over so Matt could sit next to me.
Max moved over so Alex could sit next to her.
Vince and Jerry pulled up a chair.
“Boys, these are our dorm mates, Danni and Lynn, Danni and Lynn, these are old friends of mine. Alex, Matt, and Jerry and their dorm mate Vince,”
“Nice to meet you,” they said and a conversation started again.
“Alex! Matt! Jerry! Vince!” came a loud male voice from behind us.
We all turned around to see who shouted.
“Ryan,” Matt said smiling.
“Hey, brothers, what’s up?” asked Ryan
“Just hanging out,”
“Nice,” Ryan said then he looked at the girls. He started at Max and made his way round to me. He smirked. “Do you come in peace?” he asked looking at me.
I laughing silently. “You know, I’ve never heard that one before, very creative of you. I’m sure it took your small brain a while to think of something so cleaver,”
“Listen you purple eyed freak-” Ryan was cut off.
“Don’t talk to her like that!” Matt said standing up. His fisted were balled up and he glared at Ryan who glared back.
Alex and Jerry stood but too. “I think you should leave, bro,” Jerry said.
“Later,” Ryan said and stalked away.
I smiled. “Thanks guys,”
“No problem, Vi, your our girl, when someone mess with you, we beat them up,” Alex smiled.
I laughed. “Who does that guy think he is?” Max said in anger.
“I know, what a jerk,” Danni agreed.
“He didn’t even meet you and did you see the way he was checking us out? Pig,” Lynn said in disgust.
“Guys, it’s cool, I’ve heard worse,”
“It’s not okay, Violet, I’ll talk to him later,” Matt said.
“You don’t have too,” I smiled.
“Yes, I do,”
“Yes, we do,” Jerry smiled.
Our pizza came and we eat and laughed like nothing happened.
*****
The next day we woke up early and to get ready for orientation.
The girls and I went to the cafeteria to get something to eat then we hurried to the schools auditorium.
The orientation was about an hour.
Once it was over the girls and I went back to our dorm and relaxed for a little while.
****
“Dude, there is no food here,” Max said.
“Duh,” Danni giggled.
“We need food,”
“Want to go shopping?” Lynn asked.
“Sure, lets go,” Max said.
We all got up and left the campus and found the nearest market.

Matt’s Point Of View

The boys and I were hanging out in the boy’s lounge.
“Hey boys,” Ryan said walking up to us.
“Hey,” they greeted him, but me.
“What’s wrong, brother?” he asked me. “Still mad about the hot freaky chick?”
“Don’t talk about her like that” I snapped.
“Why? She your girl?”
“No, but she’s special to me,”
“Oh, you have a little crush on her, I get it, I’ll lay off,”
“Thanks,” I smiled.
“Yup,” Ryan said sitting next to me.

Violet’s Point Of View

While we were out we bought our books for school, so we wouldn’t have to next week.
We unpacked and headed to bed.
****
A week passed by quickly.
The girls and I spent our time with the boys.
It’s now Sunday night.
I texted Josh good night and went to bed.
Tomorrow is school.

Sorry about this sucky chapter and that it took me forever to write it.
I’m having a little trouble writing this story, I will admit.
But the creative flow will come back.
