The Birthday surprise.
“Ah! I finally got 3 A in a row! Yay! I can’t wait until I meet Usagi-san! He’ll praise me for sure!" I started to run and I when I got to a stop sign I stopped and realized what I just said out loud.. ' Why did I think like that?! Isn’t it my brother I want to show this to and …. ‘ I can’t wait until I meet Usagi-san'?!?!”
“Hey, Misaki.”
“Uuwwaaah! Usaaagi-saan!!!! Don’t scare me like that!”
“I was walking normally .. Anyway, let’s go home.“
“Huh?”
“It’s your brother’s birthday right? Did you forget it already?”
“.. No, how could I … yeah, that’s right.. I got this today.” I showed him my tests results.
“That’s great! Your third A in a row! I’m proud of you.” He said and messed my hair up. I smiled and we walked together home. My brother hadn’t come yet so we prepared everything and after a while he came.

“Thank you. Ah! Good that you are here Usagi-chan. I wanted to introduce her to you first! This is Miyaki-san. We have decided to get married.” A girl with brown long hair came from behind my brother. She was smiling.
“Ah, you have finally done it! And such a cute girl too.” I smashed my hand in the wall and said quietly:
“ … Buy some more.”
“What did you say Misaki”
“We’re running out on champagne, I will go and buy some more.”
“They won’t sell it to you.”
“Usagi-san come with me.” I said and pulled him outside. We walked a bit from my house and I stopped.
“That was the first time I really wanted to hit my brother! How could he!? He is so stupid! He wanted to introduce you two first!?!? Damn! Stupid Brother!!” I started to cry.
“What an ugly way of crying.”
“Well I can’t help it can I? Once I start I won’t be able to stop until I have no water in my body! And it’s your fault! I’m crying because of you... Why did you smile like that in front of him when he introduced you guys?! Stupid Usagi-san! aren’t you upset?!” He came closer and took my wrist in one hand and the other hand went around my waist pulling me closer. He suddenly kissed me. We stood there awhile and then he said:
“Ah, you stopped crying.” He put his head on my shoulder and said: “Please let me stay like this for awhile.” I put my arms around him and answered:
“You can cry if you want to.”
“I have never cried in front of anyone since I was born. How could I cry in front of someone that wasn’t you?” I felt his tears slowly running down my arm and back. I held him tight for a few minutes. Then he stood up and said:
“Thank you. I needed that.” He smiled. “We better hurry and buy the champagne and head back.” He continued
“Yeah, I guess. But will you be okay?” I asked.
“Yeah, you’re by my side, right?” he said and smiled
“Of course.”
“Then I’ll be just fine.” He said still smiling.
“Hey, Misaki.”
