The Beast and The Harlot = ?

Part 51

I waved bye to Mike, carrying my heels as I walked up the driveway.

I softly opened the door, tip towing in, not wanting to wake Brian up.

I mean, it is 3 in the morning. I closed the door gently and screamed when the light flipped on.

I turned and saw Brian leaning against the wall with a cocked eyebrow.

"Where have you been young lady?" Brian asked with a smile.

I grinned and walked over to him, wrapping my arms around him.

I leaned my head against his chest, absorbing his warmth.

"How did it go?" Brian asked.

"I got the job." I said with a smile.

"Really? I knew you could do it baby." Brian said, kissing my forehead.

I snuggled closer to Brian's chest and fought to keep my eyes open.

I was practically dead on my feet.

"So how was it?Did you have fun?" Brian asked.

"Yeah. Mike helped me out a lot tonight. He really put in a good word for me." I said with a small smile.

"That was nice of him." Brian said.

He was trying to be nice but I could hear the meaning behind his words.

"I know you don't want me to take this job. Just say the word and I wont." I told him honestly.

He went quiet for a minute and then he pulled away from me.

I pouted before I noticed the look on his face.

"I may not be too fond of you working in a bar. Mostly because you will be in a bar with guys hitting on you every five seconds. But I'm not gonna stop you from doing something you want to do. So if you want to do this, then I'll support you." Brian said.

I grinned hugely and planted a huge kiss on him.

He smiled and caressed my face gently.

"I'll cone and visit you every night." He said jokingly.

"Yay! I get to be a bartender and hang out with my boyfriend." I said happily.

"I was just joking babe. I don't want you getting tired of me." Brian said with a laugh.

"Never gonna happen." I murmured, laying my head back on Brian's chest.

He wrapped his arms around me and I yawned deeply.

"Lets get you to bed Cynthia. You've had a long day." He said.

I nodded and pulled away slowly.

Brian yanked me back and held me tightly.

"I don't think so." Brian said.

I smiled when Brian wrapped his arms around me tightly and carried me upstairs bridal style.

I leaned against Brian as he slowly made his way up.

Brian sat me on the bed and I smiled when he leaned over me.

He unzipped my dress slowly and pulled it over my head.

Brian went to the closet and hung up my dress, coming back with a shirt of his.

I shivered on the bed as I waited in my bra and underwear.

"Arms up." Brian said softly as he put the shirt over my head.

I smiled when his scent enveloped me and I felt the warmth of the shirt surround me.

Brian pushed me up the bed until my head hit the pillow.

I fought so hard to kept my eyes open but they weighed like bricks.

Brian disappeared and I frowned until I saw the light go off.

I groaned as the darkness and cold surrounded me.

"What's wrong babe? Brian asked from behind me.

"You left me by myself." I said simply.

Brian chuckled and walked around our bed, laying down and moving closer to me.

He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

"Better?" Brian murmured in my ear.

I turned over so I was facing Brian and I wrapped my arm and him tightly, burying my face in his neck.

"Now I am." I said, kissing his neck gently.

I felt him squirm and I smirked.

"Not funny babe. You're lucky yiure tired otherwise I'd keep you up all night." Brian said huskily.

"Why can't we now?" I pouted.

"Because you're fighting to stay awake now. And you've had a long day." Brian said.

"I love you." I said softly.

"Always." Brian said firmly.

"You better not leave me." I said groggily.

"Never gonna happen." Brian said.

"Good." I mumbled.

"Go to sleep baby." Brian said softly.

"Okay." I said, smuggling into Brian's warmth, pulling him even closer if that was possible.

"I love you." Was the last thing that I heard before unconsciousness took over.
