Who Do I Want? What Do I Need?

Jacks POV

It has been two months, two fucking months since I’ve had an actual conversation with Alex. Not gonna lie, I miss him.

Alexs POV

I miss jack. Its winter break and there’s nothing to do. I text Stella ‘Stella, We need to talk ASAP. -Alex’

I meet stella at the park an hour later. “stella, its been a few months and I don think its going to work out anymore.” Stella walks away, devastated.

I get home feeling horrible. I cant believe that I was in a relationship with stella for two and a half months, and most of it was just a lie. I’ve loved Jack all this time. And I think I should tell him. I get my laptop and tell him everything.. And I mean EVERYTHING.

Jacks POV

I wake up at noon. I check my email, I have one from Alex.

‘Jack, these past few months have been killing me. I’ve loved you since the first day we met. Every time I’d kiss, hug, or hold hands with Stella I’d pretend it was you. I know that you are with Olivia right now. But I just thought I should tell you this

I sit there staring at the screen for five minutes, reading it over and over again.

Alexs POV

I wonder if he actually read it. I mean we haven’t spoken to each other in two months. Should I text him? No, I don’t want to creep him out. Right as I pick up my phone Zack texts “Hey! You up for some sledding later? We haven’t hung out in months!” “Sure! Who’s all going?” I text back “You, Rian, Jack and Olivia.” Jack. Jack AND Olivia. “Cool, what time?” “Around three.” I look at the clock, its one. I run downstairs and I tell my mom. I watch some TV until two thirty. I grab my stuff and walk to the park. As I walk, I wonder what to do when I see Jack.

Jacks POV

“Jacko! Lets go sledding!” Zack IM’s me. “Hell yea! Who’s going?” “Alex, Rian, Olivia, and me” “Cool, what time?” “Three. Anyways see you later.” I text Olivia “You going sledding later?” “yeah, why?” she responds almost instantly. “oh just wondering, we need to talk later though.”
