It's almost new years. I don't know who I'm spending it with or what I'm doing. "Hey Mom?" I ask as I sit down at the dinner table. "Yes?" "What are we doing for new years?" "Well Dad and i are going to New York for the weekend. So that means that you have the entire house to yourself." "Really?!" I ask almost falling out of my seat. "Yes. You can have a part but with no alcohol. Or you can have Jack over." Oh Okay." "Yes. I have to go finish packing. Make your decision and come back to me."

I text Jack asking him what he was doing for new years. 'Nothing. Why?' he replied. 'My parents are out of town for new years. Wanna have a party with Rian and Zack? or alone time with me?' I sat there waiting for a reply.
