Rosaline 'Rose' Harper is the stereotype Californian girl. Soft blonde hair. Blue eyes. Popular. Rich. Her life is perfect. Perfect boyfriend, grades, parents and best friend.

Nichola 'Nikki' Cullen ( ha ha laugh if u want i think its a cool last name) is what she calls a "Half-breed'. Brown-black hair. Green eyes. Popular...but for different reasons. While Rose is openly friendly and kind, Nikki's the heartbreaking, sarcastic, rebelling,irresistable tease guys cant stay away from but can never get close enough.

They're ex-enemies, now best friends and Nikki gets the news shes moving to Rose's school. And Rose should be happy her bestest friend and boyfriend are getting along so well...right?

As drama folds and unfolds Rose and Nikki question if people can truly change and if the old antagonistic feelings toward eachother are gone or just buried deep enough so that with just a little hard work ( and a shovel) they can be uncovered again...
