All I Wanted Was You

The weekend went by fast but it was amazing.
He took me everywhere.
To amusement parks and bookstores and to the movies.
He is the greatest tour guide a girl can ask for.
He almost knew the place like the back of his hand.
He even took me to Disneyland which I must say made me giggle like a school girl.
The place was magical, and so big it would make anyone giggle.
I was roaming around in my room and somehow trying to stuff all my souvenirs in my suitcase.
“Hey love what are you doing?”
“Trying to stuff Matty and Cordelia’s gifts in my suitcase. I look like an idiot don’t i?”
“Hahaha not really come on let me help you.”
I sat on the suitcase and then he started to zip it after 10 struggling minutes later we somehow managed to get it zipped.
“Rob you know we shouldn’t have closed the suitcase.”
“Why not?”
“Because I still need to put my clothes in there.”
“Hahaha!! Oh gosh. You are officially a girl my love. I think we need to buy you another suitcase.”
“Oh no come on we can make everything fit.”
“Its alright I will have the hotel buy one and bring it up later. But in the mean time I need you to find a good outfit for tonight.”
‘Uh why?”
“Because I need you to look more beautiful tonight.”
“But..”
“Please?”
Well whats the worst he can do?
“Fine let me look through my closet and see what I can find.”
“Awesome. I am going to head down to the hotel restaurant and get some breakfast meet me down there when you are pick out your outfit.”
“Alright can you order me a coffee I am going to need it.”
“No problem.”
He smiled and gave me a quick kiss.
It took me all but 5 seconds to pick something out.
I headed down the elevator and then walked towards the restaurant.
When I saw the mob.
The bell boy stopped me.
“Ah Ms. Morgan you may want to take a deep breath it looks like a big group out there.”
“Oh lord. You think I can make it through there?”
“I think you can. Would you like me to escort you?”
“Thank you that would be so much help. How do they even find out where he is staying?”
“There is always someone in the hotel leaking details they end up fired by the end of the day, but this time it wasn’t anyone in the hotel maybe some crazed fan following him.”
He grabbed my arm and lead me through the mob of fans and brought me to his table.
“Hey love.”
“Hi.”
“Alright gals can you give me some private time with my girl?”
The death stares came back and the crowd disappeared.
“They must love you.”
“Its part of the job. I really don’t like them that way I am just grateful for their support.”
And then one of them shouted back
“SHE IS NOT PRETTIER THAN KRISTEN!!!”
He stirred around his tea.
I felt like I was missing something.
“Rob..”
“Yeah?”
“Who is Kristen?”
“I…I really don’t want to talk about that.”
“Oh okay.”
And then I saw it on his face.
Kristen she was his Nathan.
She was the one that broke him.
“Are you going to tell me the story one day?”
“Yeah I just…I want to feel ready when I tell you my tale of sadness and hurt. Just like I want you to feel ready to tell me about the guy who broke you.”
“I understand.”
He didn’t need to tell me much but you can see all the pain and a little bit of anger on his face.
She did something big to him.
