All I Wanted Was You

I headed back to my place to wait for him.
I felt like this was something to discuss in private and I didnt want to rain on Dan and Cordy's parade.
I sat near the window looking out and I heard the door knob jingling.
And in he stepped in.

“Oh hey I thought you were next door.”
“I was I just wanted to be here when you came back.”
he put his phone and key down on the table.
“Are you okay love?”
“I am not quite sure how to answer that.”
“What do you mean?”

slowly just tackle this gut wrenching scenario slowly.

“I really never wanted to bring this up in the account that it kind of scares me but, what am I going to do when you get offered a role you can't turn down because you like it too much?”
“Oh.”

I saw it all on his face, and it was about to happen.

“I think we are about to find out.”
“Its that good huh?”
he just nodded.
“So how do we do this?”
“What do you mean?”
“Do we just say good bye nice to have met you, pretend it never happened?”
“Whoa there. Even if by some weird eternal sunshine of a spotless mind event happened I could never forget you.”
“Then?”
“I never thought I would leave you, to go off to film this soon yet but I do love this script.”

breathe dont freak out.

“where?”
“New York.”
“Wow.”
“Yeah.”
“Thats a lot of people.”
“Tell me about it. I thought LA was bad, there its ten times worst but I will live.”
“How soon do you leave?”
“two weeks.”
“Cant wait to get back huh?”
“no love, its not like that.”
“Explain then.”
“They just need me for some pre-production stuff, you know costume fitting, building up the character a bit, locations where I will be filming and going to rent a place for me and you.”
“What?”
he smirked
“Did you honestly think I was going anywhere without you?”
“Honestly?....yeah.”
“I can't sleep without you next to me, what makes you think I am going to go months without you next to me?”
“I thought...”
“Oh I am so thick, I forgot to ask, will you like to come to New York with me?”

“New york?”
“Yeah.”
“Morgan are you serious?”
“Crazy right?”
“You can barely handle the diner at lunch rush, can you handle New York?”
“I don't know but I seriously cannot be without him I would go insane.”
“you have never been this crazy over someone before.”
“I know.”
“So how is this going to go down?”
“He is going first and I am going to join him when he has everything set up.”
“Okay cool because I have some news of my own other than baby making.”
“What is it?”
“I was looking to see if you would want to play guitar for my weird yet un named band.”
“Yeah sure for what?”
“Because I got a call today from a label guy who said if I can get a band together and get a half decent sound together, he will give me a shot.”
“Oh thats great!”
“i know I need you in on this, please?”
“When and where?”
“So is that a yes?”
“Dan you dont have to ask, thats a hell yes.”
“oh man I owe you huge!”
“Dont mention it.”
“Thanks anyway. Just bring your guitar to AMP rehearsal studio at noon tomorrow, and we will go from there I have the rest of the band filled I just needed you to say yes.”
“Wow I will be there.”
“Thanks again!.”

Rob was with Cordy, she was of course talking his ear off.
She was excited for the baby and he was happy for her.
We spent the rest of the afternoon there and went home, and he started to gather the things he was taking with him.
Since somehow his stuff started to grow when he moved in.
I mentioned the band thing to him

“wow you get busy fast beautiful.”
“I know haha at least I wont be bored when you leave.”
“Thats good. I wouldn't want you to be bored and feeling lonely.”
“I am going to miss you though.”
“I know. You are everything to me Belinda.”
