After years of fighting with her daughter, 16 year old Maddi Liang's mother has had enough and desides to send her daughter to San Francisco to spend the summer with her father.

Once there, Maddi's life becomes a serch for friendship and love. Both from her parents and from her peers.

While she has never been one to fit in, Maddi is hoping to do just that. All the while trying to win the love her father stopped being able to give her after he moved across the country.

This story is Maddi's quest to find the happeness she left behind when her father and mother devorced.
