Listening to Three Days Grace while kicking my punching bag. You see I have been living in the building across from my aunt's building. My aunt is April O'Neil. Yes, the reporter. I'm 15 and I am a 12th degree martial artist. Ever since I could walk, my Dad has sent me to Asia, Japan and China to learn martial arts. I know any type of hand-to-had combat. Oh, how rude of me. My name is Adi. My building has three floors. The top floor is my room and the drawing room. The second floor is my dojo, my music room, and my bathroom. The first floor is my living room and kitchen and my game room.
As of right now, I am in my dojo. I'm doing mix martial arts. My punching bag is on a wheel, it moves when I punch it. When I deliver the last kick and it goes sliding to the other side of the room.
My music is so load that I didn't hear my door open. I grab my remote to turn of Three Days Grace and turn around.
I almost scream, but a three fingered hand stopped it. There, standing was my aunt. But she wasn't alone. Four life sized turtles were standing behind her. They are each wearing a headband that covers their faces and each have a different color. The one with the blue headband had his hand over my mouth.

They introduce themselves as Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello.

"Okay, so your saying that when you owners accidently dropped you. Then you farther, Splinter, who is also a life sized rat, found you in a type of ooze. Then, you started to grow and talk into what you are today?" I asked.
"Yeah, pretty much," stated Leonardo.

Pause.
"Is that why you didn't call?" I directed at my aunt.
"Yep"
A pause.
"I'm surprised at that you haven't freaked out yet," spoke Donatello.
"I have seen some crazy things and you don't meet the top 5 on my list."
We go over to April's and sit around and eat frozen pizza.
After a while we started hanging out and telling stories about what we have done. It was mostly me and the boys telling stories about what we have done and battle scars. Soon, they had to go.
"Bye," called the boys.
"Bye," said my aunt.
"Buh-bye," I called after them.

A couple of hours later I was getting ready for bed and there was a knock on my door.
There standing in my door way were the boys.
"Back already?" I noticed none of them were smiling.

"What's wrong?"
"Splinter" said Michelangelo, sad and depressed.

The boys and I head to Aunt April's apartment. They look so depressed. One of the boys knocked on the door. When she answered the door Leo said the same thing as Mikey said when I answered my door. We go in and they start explaining that someone took their father, Splinter. They think it's a group named the Foot, a group that April was trying to get noticed on the news. After they are done explaining, April, the boys and I start making a place for them to sleep.
As they slept I told April that I was going to stay in the guest room.
~Next Day~
When I woke up April's boss and his son, Danny, was there. I guess the boys were hiding.
"Hey, April. I'm gonna head to my apartment to shower and do my morning work out, okay?" I told her.
"Okuh" she said around the toothbrush in her mouth.
I went back to my apartment and started on my work out. Usually I just work with the punching bag. As I get ready I start playing music. The first song was "Lost in the Shadows" by Lou Gramm.

After another hour of working out, I took a shower. I got out and got dressed in a "The Doors" band t-shirt and some skinny jeans. After putting my hair in a ponytail I put on some hi-top converse and went back to Aunt April's apartment.

I walked to Aunt April's house to go see what the guys were doing. I walked up the stairs and walked in the door. I saw that April had already left and Mikey, Leo, Donnie, and Raph were watching April on the news.
"What's up, guys?"
"Nothing," the guys answered together.
As we were watching April, Raph and I were talking. About what I was doing in China and Japan.
"What was your favorite place that you went to in your training?" he asked.
"Um...maybe Australia. Yeah, Australia."
"What were you doing there?" Leo asked.
"That was about two years ago. I was training there for 3 or 4 years in martial arts. I got to an 8th degree black belt before I stopped."
"Wow."
"Yeah."
So far, the guys are my best friends. I might not have known them for very long but, I know a lot about them.
Leo and Raph fight a lot. Leo is like their father and likes to meditate. Raph has a temper and likes to beat a punching bag to a pulp when angry. Donnie is a smart guy and I talk to him about technology. Mikey is a fun lovin' guy that you just gotta love. And I think I was already developing a crush on Raph.
~Raph's POV~
Adi is cool chick to talk to. She has been telling us about her training and everything.
We went back to watching April on TV and she was just ending it saying "Thank you, Raphael"
My brothers were teasing me about how I was blushing. After that "The Fearless Leader" and I started fighting.
It just gets me so frustrating that we were just sitting there. I went to the roof to let of some steam and while I was up there I started thinking about what happened and meeting April and Adi. I think I might like Adi as more than a friend. Just as I was going back in, I noticed I was surrounded by The Foot.
