Chapter 18

Payton stood in the kitchen getting a bowl of cereal; Nick walked in and smirked at her. She smiled back and went to get the milk; she felt his arm’s wrap around her waist.

“Last night was fun” he told her.

“It was” she agreed, pressing herself against him more.

“Were still on for after you drop your mom off right?” he then asked.

“I can hardy wait” she told him, with a smirk.

“Neither can I baby.”

They could hear someone coming down the stairs so he let go of her waist; he walked out of the room to go get ready. Joe walked in and sat down at the table.

“I’m beat” he stated softly.

“You should be” she told him.

“You should be more tired then me.”

“I don’t have to work as hard” she stated, with a smile. He smiled back bashfully, his eyes roamed around the room for a second.

“What are you doing after you drop off your mom?” He then asked.

“Uhhh, nothing” she lied. “Probably hanging out with Nick.”

“I’m going over to my rents house” Joe told her.

“What for?” she asked.

“I’m watching Frankie for the day, were going go hang out, do some stuff, not sure what yet.”

“Aw, you’re just a good big brother” she cooed at him.

“Yeah tell Frankie that, he got all mad when I said I was going to watch him instead of Nick.”

“What did he get mad for?” Payton asked.

“I don’t know, he doesn’t like me as much as Nick” Joe told her.

“Does it help if I said I liked you?” she asked with a smile.

“It helps a little” he smiled coyly, standing up and walking over to her.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled at him.

“If you need anymore help, just let me know” she told him.

“I think I may need some help with something latter” he told her.

“Mm, and what would that be?” she asked, smirking.

“I’ll show you latter.”

“ Aw sexy, I can’t wait to see.” He kissed her lips softly; she kissed back as the kiss got deeper. He pushed her up against the counter.

“I still want to do you in the kitchen” He whispered in her ear.

“One day, baby.”

He kissed her lips once more then pulled away.

“I better get going.”

“See ya latter” she called after him, he walked over to the front door put on his shoes on, got a coat and walked out the door.

“What were you doing in the living room?” Payton asked her mother who just walked in the room.

“I was just listening to an interesting program.”

You were listening to it?” she asked.

“Well I couldn’t see it because I was in the living room” Beth stated.

“Uh, ok” Payton said confused.

“Ok, enough crap, what’s going on with you, Joe and Nick?” Beth asked

“Were friends” Payton said.

“Your doing both of them aren’t you?” she asked.

“Wh-what?” Payton asked…BUSTED.

“You are” Beth stated.

“How the hell did you find out?”

“I come out of my room to go to the bathroom last night and I saw Nick smack your ass then Joe and you basically get it on in the hall way… then talks you had wit them this morning. It doesn’t take an idiot to figure it out.”

“So what are you going to do?” She asked” Tell them?”

“They don’t know?” Beth asked.

“No” Payton stated, looking down.

“Wow, I’m not going to tell them, but you can’t keep doing this to them, you gotta pick one.”

‘Why?” she asked.

“Because, you can’t just f*ck them both forever” Beth told her daughter.

“But how could I pick just one and not want the other one too?”

“Hey, don’t ask me, I’m a one man chick.”

Payton sighed looking down again.

“Witch one do you like more?” Beth then asked.

“I don’t know, Joe, he’s sweet, some times he’s kinda a jerk and a player but he’s so sweet and just he doe’s things to me, and when we talk he listens to me and his body good god, his body is amazing” She gushed.

“So you pick Joe?” Beth asked.

“No” She half yelled. “Cause then there’s Nick, he’s sometimes hard to talk to, and he’s a player too. But He’s been my best friend forever and he touches me places Joe never could and everything just feels so right when were together.”

“So, you pick Nick?” Beth asked.

“No cause everything feels right with Joe too” Payton stated.

“You really do like them both don’t you?”

“Yes” Payton told her mother. “I know it’s wrong and if they find out their going to be so pissed, but I can’t help it.”

“How the hell did this all happen anyway?” Beth then asked.

“Well, it’s a long story” Payton stated.

“I got time.”
