Bloodlust

Sebastian

I woke up a few hours later. Andy wasn’t in the bed, but I heard the shower running. I sighed and snuggled into the covers more. I wanted Andy to get his sexy ass back in the bed. I was started to miss him. I felt scared and vulnerable. After are full out make-out scene, Andy came almost to fucking me, but stopped himself before he his hunger took over. He was still thirsty, but he wasn’t trying to bite me. “I could get used to this,” I thought with a smile. I sat up in the bed and turned on a lap.

I heard the water turn off. After awhile, Andy walked out with black pajama bottom pants on and no shirt. “Hey, you’re up.” Andy smiled and sat down next to me on the bed. He gave me a quick kiss and sighed. He looked tired and weak. “Andy, you need to go get something for your… thirst.” I stared at his blood red eyes. He needed blood fast, but I don’t think a little of my blood will help.

As I was thinking, Andy got up and grabbed my arm and led me out of the bed. “Where’re we going?” He led me to a door next to the bed and opened it.

“You wanna see something cool?” He opened the door and it revealed a long, narrow, staircase leading into the dark.

“Um, ok,” I reluctantly followed him down the stairs. He closed the door behind us and we were engulfed in darkness. I held on to his hand as we went lower and lower.

Once we reached the bottom of the staircase, He opened a door and revealed another room. It was huge. The walls were a gothic blue and the ceiling dark brown. It kind of looked like a gothic church, but without the pews and alter. In the middle of the huge room was a circle, painted on the floor with, what looked like, blood. Manacles were set in the middle of the symbol. I looked around the room and saw graveyard etchings on the walls. Some looked like the number “6”, while others looked like names and sayings. They were, in what looked like Latin or Greek, so it was hard to read them, but a few names stood out. “Apocalypse has come, all is lost,” was written in dried blood. “What is this place Andy?” I was horrified at all the blood and suicidal carvings.

“This is where my father and I went to escape those creatures.” He whispered. “I was three years old when everything was starting to change. I remembered the sky turning blood red and dark clouds came up fast. My father told me to get into the bomb shelter fast. It was just me and him. My sister and mother were out in town. We ran down the stairs and locked the door and huddled in the center of the floor. My dad painted a circle in the center with his blood and told me to stay there. That he was going to go get mom and my sister. He told me he loved me and that he might not come back. He left me here alone and never came back.” Andy took in a shaky breath.

“After two days, he didn’t come back, nor my mom or sister. There was enough food and water in here to last me a few months. After awhile, I started getting sick. After a month, I was craving blood. I feed from my own blood, which didn’t help. I went crazy, but I didn’t want to leave. I stayed here and waited for my dad to come, but my mom came instead. She was a demon and I had demon and vampire blood in me. The lycan blood came from my dog. My mom told me my sister got killed by a warrior demon and my dad turned into a blood thirsty zombie like creature looking for my mom.” Tears were pouring down Andy’s cheeks. I looked around. “What language are those etchings in?” I said, trying to change the subject.

Andy sniffled. “Its Latin. That one,” he pointed to one covered in blood, “Says orbis terrarum mos adeo cinis cineris. It means ‘the world will come to ashes’.” I squeezed Andy. He hugged me back and cried on my bare shoulder. Andy and I sat in the center of the circle, holding each other. Andy’s sobbing was only sniffles now. “Hey, Andy, can you speak Latin?” I asked.
“Yes. Want me to sing you something my dad used to song to me?” I nodded.

“Dies irae solvet saeclum in favilla.
Mors stupebit cum resurget creatura.
Requiem aeternam dona eis,
Et lux perpetua luceat eis
Exaudi orationem meam.”
Andy’s voice was beautiful. He stopped singing and sighed.

“That was beautiful. What do those lyrics mean?”

Andy smiled. “A day of wrath will dissolve the world into glowing ashes. Death shall be amazed when creation rises again. Give them eternal rest, And let perpetual light shine on them; O hear my prayers.” Andy stood up. “Come on. Let’s get out of here.” I stood up, gave him a quick kiss, and ascended the stairs and back into his room.

I'm not too sure on the translations for "the earth will come to ashes". luckily, i'm taking Latin and have a handy dandy book. but... it's not with me. :3 i'll have to get back on that. the song he sings is the correct translation though. another thing is that she put that there was a heartagram, but since that is actually something HIM created and has no meaning, i changed it into a circle untill she finds something else to change it to.my, my, little sister. what a bad mouth you have ;)
