Linzie Wicker and Dave Parker are in their senior year of high school, and they are both best friends since Pre-K. Dave is in love with Linzie, and tries to show the signs of his love towards her. However, Linzie doesn't see the signs, and thinks that Dave and herself are only best friends, and will always be friends. Dave is hurt, and decides to find another way to bring her to him.
When Dave starts to date Stella Will, Linzie starts to have some unknown feelings towards Dave. Linzie is lost, and is clueless as to what to do. When Mike Will, Stella's brother, starts to befriend Linzie, feelings are out, and plans are made.
