John’s POV
“Johnny thinks you’re pretty!” Liddy squealed running over to the girl.
“Really Johnny, you think I’m pretty?” She asked amused.
“Wel-I-er-um.” I said scratching the back of my neck.
“You guys should date, get married, and have kids!” Liddy laughed clapping her hands.
“Liddy, I think you should go to the back room now.” I said pushing her along. After I gave her the dolls I went back to the girl on the couch.
“Hi, I’m Lauren.” She said coming over and hugging me.
“I’m John, and I’m sorry about Liddy.” I said sitting next to her on the couch. “I don’t know if this is rude, but why are you here?”
“Oh, right, one of your techs is injured so I stepped in.” She said.
“That’s cool.” I said shoving my hands in my pockets.
“Yeah.” She said slowly making things awkward.
“Just tell her she’s pretty!” Liddy screamed at me from the back room.
“Liddy, play with your dolls!” I shouted back.
