Running with Wolves

“Wake up you two!”

“Jason who is it?” he moaned and shuffled around in the bed I slowly opened and then shut immediately from the bright sun. “It’s too bright!” My mind slowly began working remembering all that happened last night and realizing I was naked in bed with the most beautiful man holding on to me. What an amazing night.

“Get up!” I realized it was Kiki’s voice yelling from outside our room. Thank goodness the door to our room was locked.

“Kiki will you shut up! I’m trying to enjoy this morning with my fiancée”.

“Awh Jason, you are so cute!” I began to kiss him all over his face and her returned his own.

“Good morning Ellie”. He smiled and pushed strands of hair out of my face. Kiki Became irritated and kicked the door in. “What the hell do you think you’re doing!”

“Jasmine is missing. No one can find her or has heard from her since last night and it’s all your fault!”

"What? How is it my fault?" Jason yawned and streched takining up a big portion of the bed. I could feel all his muscles flex and move thoughout his body.

“Because you scared her out of here yesterday! Who knows what could have happened to her”. She started pacing in fron of the clear door sized windows at the foot of the bed. Her shadow helped to block out some of the sun that was coming in. “you're such an idiot Jason!”

“How am I an idiot for defending Ellie, you're best friend and my soulmate? If i didn't say what i did she would have gotten even worse”.

“You could have not kicked her out though! Seriously you moron. You could have at least been nicer to her”.

“I don't regret one word that i said to her, and i especially don't regret kicking her out. If shes going to speak like that she better be no where near me”.

“Well you better get your stinky butt dressed and help us. You know you're the best tracker so you have to find her”. I pull the blankets around me more from the fear that something might be showing. Then Jason stood up off his bed exposing his gorgeous body. The bed was just high enough to hide his privates. “Oh my god, Jason will you put on some underwear at least! Eww, you are so gross”. Although she must have enjoyed the view because her eyes said something completely different as she eyed his toned stomach. I couldn't help but stare at him too though. Everythin about his body I loved. The caramely skin and the bulging muscles from his arms. His hips which exposed a muscular V. The tattoos filling his back. Even his eyes; so unique and beautiful, even if one was slightly cloudy. His soft silky hair drove me wild alond with his firm strong hands and beautiful teeth. Every inch of his body was perfect to me.

He must have noticed her admiring his body because a radiant smile and a “you love this” expression filled his eyes. “For being gross you sure seem to like it.”

She snapped out of her tanz and began, “look are you going to help or not?”

“I don't want to, but I guess I will or I'm gonna have you and who knows who else on my back until shes found”. He pulled a pair of boxers around his waste and started walking over to the mirror doored closet to pull out something to wear.

“Well good. I'm so scared that shes in trouble”.

Jasons head lifted up as he started getting a scent. He followed it to the window, “Shes fine Kiki”.

“What how would you know?”

“Shes walking here right now”. As he said that a black and white husky like wolf cub walked out of the woods across the street from the apartment. “Why is she in her wolf form? And why is she a pup? Is she trying to be seen?” I roll over to get a better look and she looked as calm as ever crossing the abandoned road. Luckily not many people used this road since it lead to no where.

“I'm going to go see if shes alright”. Kiki ran out of the room to meeet up with her.

“I'm going to go shower and shave. Want to join me?” he dropped his clothes on the corner of the bed and crawled his way up to me and towered over me on his hands and knees. Once again our lips met and the kiss lasted such a sweet long time.

“I'd love to but I don't want you to shave. I like when you get scruffy”.

“i know but you like me when I'm not scruffy more. So i shall shave”.

“Awh, you meanie”. He pulled himself off the bed and ripped the blanket off of me. I wrapped my arms around my body from the shock of being openly naked but he picked me up and brought me into his bright bathroom. I was gently set down into the showere i began to adjusts the heat and peaked to see him pull his boxers off and step in behind me. His arms made it around my body to my stomach lightly rubbing thee water a suds in. They slowly crept higher and high up my body. As he began to kiss and nip at the back of my neck. His body was firm and strong pushed up against me. I could already tell today was going to be amazing.

As things in the shower were getting steamy the sound of howling and yelling came from right outside the bathroom. “Crap! They are here Jason, stop”.

“I don't want to. I don't care if they can hear or smell what we are doing. In fact I'd love for them to know. It'd be more exciting, like having an audience”.

“Jason no. Down boy!” I commanded like a trainer teaching their dog. Although I wouldn't mind doing it either. It would be a rush of excitement for people to know about our moment of pure extacy, but something was wrong i could feel it and i knew jason could too from the look growing onto his face.

Claws scratched against the door and another howl escaped through the air. “Will you guys get out! Hurry up! Something bad has happened”, Kiki's voice explained. We hurried and finished washing up and getting ready. Jason forgot about shaving which made me a little happy.for some reason I found Jason cute with the stublle around his face.

I realized I didn't have any clothes to change into so I grabbed the biggest towel I could find and wrapped it tightly around my body. He ran fingers through his hair not remembering how short he cut it. We opened up the door to an upset werewolf puppy. The husky looking wolf moved so we could get out of the bathroom and followed us into te kitchen.

“Eww. This whole place smells like sex”. Kiki's nose crinckled finally realizing the scent of love. Jasmines nose also scrunched up a little and she shook her big head around trying to get rid of it. I couldnt help but blush, and Jason stood the same, he looked proud with a slight smirk appearing on the left side of his lips. He wanted them to notice.

“Don't be jealous”, he said as his smirk grew bigger. Jasmines large blue eyes rolled showing her disgust of what she figured happened last night.

“You're so gross Jason”

“Oh, you have no idea”

“Anyways, Jasmine is stuck in her wolf form. When you smell her you can smell something different too, almost like magic”.

“Well it obviously has to be magic. How else could she get like this?” He chuckled and went on, “She is so tiny! And almost kind of cute”. Jasmine started to snarl at Jason. He laughed again and pet her small head. In a baby voice he spoke “everything is gonna be awight”. I couldn't help but giggle. “So, why is she here?”

“Like I know? I wasn't exactly with her last night. Whatever happenned to her must have happened right around the woods last night”. The pup nonned to her statement. A light went off in my head.

“Jasmine someone did this to you right?” She turned to me and growled and started to leap at me. Jason stepped in front on me and held out a fist. Jasmines snout knocked right into it.

“Technically you just hit me. Now just stop your drama Jaz and listen to her if you ever want to be changed back. This is rediculous, you are rediculous. I'm her soul mate, not yours”. Her little head went down and she whimpered a little, but nodded finally and looked towards me.

“So someone did do it? Was it one of the witches that have been coming here?” She nonned once again. “Do you know why?” She looked around but then slowly nodded. “Did you provoke it somehow?” Once again she nodded. She was actually telling the truth. Probably because of Jason and his special nick name for her. The thought of it makes me jealous. He is mine, not hers and yet she is still trying to take him away. Arms folded around me and pulled me close into a warm body. Jason could feel my anger and jealousy of her. He knew I didn't enjoy being here with her so vulnerable and adorable looking.

“Relax Ellie. I'm all yours. No one elses”. After he said that he kissed the top of my head and breathed in the scent of my hair. It calmed me down and i just let my self relax into his arms. “Kiki did you get a hold of the others?”

“Yeah Carter and the twins are on their way here”.

“Just them?”

“Well Logan will come over later along with Danny and Parker. I couldn't get a hold of Cara or Shelby. I don't know what they are doing right now”.

“Alright I guess. The first thing that we are going to have to do is pick up a scent of the witch or whatever”.

“Well yeah, so we could trach it down”, I said softly. Jason sqeezed me a little harder.

“Yeah, exactly”.

“Then we have to apologize for Jasmine for being stupid” Kiki sat into the couch and layed out. Jasmine growled at her but then stoped and looked away. Carter was standing in the doorway. Behind him stood two others. It must have been Louis and Devin.

“So where is the pup?” Carter walked into the room and sat down on top of Kiki.

“Ow, Carter get your big butt off of me!” She pushed at him with all of her strength but he didn't even budge. “Please Carter you're crushing my legs”.

“Oh fine, don't get so whiney”. He lifted himself up shortly to let Kiki pull her legs out from underneath but then he let himself fall back onto the couch. She let them drop onto his lap and rearranged herself into a cozy position. “Next week on the full moon there is going to be an alpha match. My father wants me to fight. He thinks its only right for me to take the position of the next alpha”.

“Well at least our pack isn't too big, just our families basically. So you wouldn't have to worry about too much”, Kiki said.

“Yeah but this match isn't for the elders alpha. That's my dad. This one is for all the new wolves, so us and any of our younger brothers and sisters and what not. He thinks it would be a good idea to split the pack into groups. I'm not sure why”.

“His dad wants all of us to compete too, I don't really want to though, because I don't want to fight all of my friends”, Louis explained.

“He's just a baby. I'm one hundred percent ready for this. It should be fun”. Devin smiled. He always enjoyed a good fight.

“Sorry that i don't want to mangle my friends”. Louis looked around at the room and shook his head.

“Oh come one, as soon as one bleeds their out, you wouldnt be able to mangle anyone”.

“I'll mangle you”, he spat. He leaped at Devin and they began wrestling eachother. One would get in the lead and tell the other to tap out but then it would switch around to the otheer way. If it werent for the different colored eyes, I would never be able to tell the difference between them. Louis had bright gold eyes while Devins were a deep wooden brown. They never dressed the same but they were still unbelievablly identical.

Jasmine started growling and crying to get everyones attention and we all looked down at her. The boys stopped and looked at her. She had started bitting Devin's ankle but he seemed to not even notice. They broke out into laughter and Devin Pulled her off and picked her up and held her next to his face. “You are so little!” He laughed even harder as he placed her on the floor. “Alright well what are we going to be doing for the baby? How did this all happen? Its pretty funny”.

“One of the witches who just recently moved here changed her into this and she can't change back or anything”. Kiki shifted around looking for a cumfier spot. “We need to find the coven and get whoever did this to change her back”.

“Which ever one did this is dangerous, very powerful too”, Carter added. “It is probably one of the leaders if not leader so we'll have to be careful when looking for them”.

“Well we should get started”, I said to eveyone to get them moving.

We ran until Jasmines small wolf stopped. She pointed out where it all happened and we searched the grounds finging anything that would give a lead for where to go. It took a few minutes but Jason picked something up through his scent and ran. Carter and Devin quickly followed behind along with the rest of us. I wasn't sure where he was leading use but it was in a location that I wasn't very familiar with. Logan had joined up earlier with us and Carter had him running with Jasmine. She was slow in her pup form and someone would have to keep an eye on her, although I don't think Logan is enjoying it.

Jason stopped. We were here. A few small cottages wer all set up in a circle. They must only have three rooms at most in each one and small ones at that. Though the little houses were cute to look at. Some were decorated with color and gardens of wild flowers and herbs and others were plain with tools and cars or bikes scattered around them. front of them. In the middle of all the houses was a small dirt and rock road that must have lead out into the main street. I might not have been around here much but I know that all of these houses weren't here a few weeks ago.

They must have senced us because one after another slowly came out of their houses and began scanning the area. They could sence our powers. Some of the boys resembled the ones in our pack. It was shocking to see the similar faces especially the well built boy with dark brown hair. He looked so much like Carter it confused me. The only differences is he seemed a tad smaller and his hair shined red from the small rays of sun that made it through the trees above. His skin was also a bit darker as well. A dark olive shaded all around him. He looked towards us and directly at me and his eyes burned deeply into my soul. They were such a mezmorizing bright green I hard trouble looking away. The wind blew his hair all around his face as he bagan walking towards us. Those green eyes still schorching me as he came.

“Please come out, come out of there. I would love to meet and see you”. His head tilted a bit and he smiled at me and the rest of the pack. “Well don't you look familiar little one”. He stared down towards Jasmine and she started snarling and growling at him.
Carter walked past the corner of my eye and I noticed he was no longer in his wolf form. Both of them looked at each other for a while before Carter spoke. “Why did you do this to her?”

“I wasn't going to but she tried attacking me so I had to do something”. Even their voices were similar with the same steady tone. “My name is Max”, he pointed towards the homes, “and this is the home of my coven. We don't wish to cause any problems but if you are going to try and hurt me or my people we will have no choise but to fight back”.

“Look we aren't here to fight, we just want this spell taken off of her”.

“Ofcourse you would”, he snapped his fingers and a shift of power went through him and Jasmine. The pup shifted and cried as it grew within the blink of an eye. “There all done with the age, now just give this to her”. He reached under the neck of his base ball styled shirt and pilled out a neclace that looked as if it were filled with small crystals. He ripped one off, a bright red one and threw it towards Carter. “Thats her's it'll make it so she's able to shift”.

Carter brought it towards her and the closser it got the brighter it shined. It almost looked like a light bulb. When it touched her it was gone, and she was in human form. Another witch ran out to join Max. This one didn't llok like any of ours luckily. He was a bit shorter than Max anf was very tan with short spikey black hair. The guy wan in nothin but some ripped up and faded blue jeans, his chest was sculpted nicely with a nice stomach to match. He stared past me almost as if he were in a daze. I looked to see what was so amazing and saw Kiki staring back with the same expression. Oh boy, did Kiki just find what I think she found?

They both slowly walked towards eachother untill they were only a couple inches away. They didn't say anything until a voice in the back started howling. Danny found us along with Parker. They were rooting her on and she couldn't help but laugh and smile.

“Wow, you are so beautiful”. He said astonished by himself.

“You are too, I mean you're hot, I mean wow”.

He laughed, “umm, thanks haha”.

“Wait, am I being tricked? Did you put a spell on me? How can you be my soul mate?”

“Yeah, humans can't be soulmates to wolves.” Louis defended.

“Who are you calling human you mutt. I'm an animal shifter, well half at least. Any animal you can think of I can be. I can be anything your heart desires beautiful”. He lighlt cupped the right side of her face and pulled it towards him. “So will you be mine?”

“I'd like that”. She blushed and her smile grew.

“And I'd like you to know I'm not a 'mutt'. I'm a high quality pure breed werewolf”.

“And now you are a kill joy. Seriously man, stop inturrupting my moment”. He looked back at Kiki and kissed her forehead. “I'll save the more fun stuff for later”, he whispered to her.

“I heard that”, Louis mumbled. Everyone laughed at them not wanting to think about just what would happen.

“So what happens from here?” I asked. “Are we like allies since this?”

Max walked close up to me so close that I could feel the body heat radiating off his skin. “I'd absolutely love being allies with you”.

“Back the hell off dude”. Jason stepped in between us and pushed him away.

“Relax, I don't plan to steal her from you...yet”. He cracked a smile and stared at me for a moment and then turned to the others that were appearing behind him. “Did any of you find that vampire from last night?”

“There were vampires here?” Carter intruded.

“Yes, right around where she was” He pointed towards Jasmine. “They were talking about something and then he tried to attack my little sister. I'm not sure why because normally they know not to touch us”.

“Jasmine what were you doing talking to a vampire”. It was a demand more than a question.

“What do you mean? Nothing. I mean he was in the forest where i was and I told him to leave and um, well that was it!”

“You better not be lying Jaz”, Jason said coldly. He looked at her with a glare but she didn't say anything in return.

“So whats your name?” The boy looked towards me, “well i just figured we could find out before you toe start making babies”.

“Haha, my name is Alejandro but my friends just cal me Andy”. He looked back into Kiki's eyes, “but you may call me anything you please”.

We spent the next hour or so getting to learn our new allies names and scents. Some of them I got along with right away and some I wasn't too sure about. No matter what i did though, I could not get my mind off of Max. There was just something different about him that stuck out to me. It made me like him more in a way that I can't explain. As for Kiki, I have never seen her so happy. Her soul mate is almost exactly what she was into. Except he wasn't wearing a styled hat that she liked. The way he looked though, I bet he had at least one somewhere in his small cabin-like house.

Most of the decorated houses belonged to the women of the coven. The plainer ones were from the boys ofcourse. Max had his eye on me the entire time that we were there. Jason also noticed that and was unbelievably jealous, but Max didn't seem to care. He wasn't afraid of what Jason could do.

At one point Jason had left me to talk with Carter. Max made a move towards me. “You are very unusual”.

“How?”

“Well your mind's strength is very powerful. That is why you are unusual. I've never known someone with such power besides myself. I can't seem to tap into you and it is astonishing”.

“What do you mean by tap in?”

“I mean to see into your mind kind of. I can see memories, weaknesses and strengths in a person or a beautiful creature such as yourself. Thats how I am able to change things like your friend over there”.

“She is not my friend”.

“Yes, I could tell from how she thought about you”.

“She was thinking about me? When?”

He nodded slightly, “when she was speaking with a vampire. If I were you I would be very careful about her. Theres nothing good coming from her right now. Thats why her heart stone was such a deep red. Everyones heart stone contains a different color symblizing their personality and heart. Colorations such as: blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, pink, white, and so on signifies a good heart and spirit. Colors such as red, black or gray signify cold, hateful hearts”.

“Really? Is there any way you could tell what mine is?”

“Yes, actually, I can.” He stepped closer, opened up his hand and waved it slowly across my face and then near my heart while his eyes were closed. He concentrated and mummbled words in another language. Then his hand changed into a fist and inside something was glowing. My heart stone. He opened his eyes to look into his hand and there it was. A bright, pale-teal colored gem. It was beautiful. His eyes widened as he looked down at it. “Wow, we must be closer than I thought”. He reached with his other hand for the necklace hidden under his shit. Once it was pulled out he searched for one. It was the same exact coloration as mine. “This is my heart stone. When two heart stones hold the same tone and shade it means they were bound to be together in some form or way”. He smiled and then looked at me as my eyes widened. I knew I could feel something different about him. I just couldn't put my finger on what it was, and now I knew.

“What? Thats crazy”.

“Its true. I could tell there was something connecting us from the moment I saw you and I know you could feel it too. I could sence that. I may not be a soul mate like the one you have but we are connected”.
