Sorrow's Story

Sydney Morgan

I heard Nathan run in to the alley and he came up behind me.

“Lauren?” he asked ,confused as he narrowed his eyes.

“Nathan!” she squealed in fake excitement as she ran over to him.

I rolled my eyes as she smashed her lips onto his. I don’t know why but that just made me hate her even more. If that was even possible.

“No PDA Nathan, it’s repulsing,” I ordered.

He pulled away for her and glared at me.

“She’s my girlfriend,” he argued.

“I don’t really care who she is, or what she is to you. And remember rule number one,” I told him as I leaned against the grimy brick wall.

“And who exactly are you?” Lauren sneered at me.

I raised my eyebrows. Huh, I guess she didn’t remember me. This would be fun.

“Lauren this is S-,” I quickly cut Nathan off.

“I’m Sydney Morgan,” I lied smoothly.

Nathan looked at me confused. Idiot.

“Well ‘Sydney Morgan’ if you know what’s good for you, you would stay away from my Nathan,” she threatened me.

I smirked, she didn’t remember me. This should be fun.

“I’ll keep that in mind,” I responded.

She flipped her hair and went over to Nathan and wrapped her stick like arms around his neck.

“Nathan, could you please walk me home?” I felt like vomiting.

“Sure,” he answered automatically.

“Nathan,” I warned.

“She’s my girlfriend,” he explained.

“I don’t care,” I mocked him, annoyed.

“Oh come on,” he whined.

Yet another characteristic of a Richie, they whine a lot.

“Fine but you have to look for you know what on the way over and back,” I ordered.

He huffed and he and Lauren left the alley.

I frowned as a thought ran through my head.

What was Lauren doing in an alley so early in the morning?

I frowned as I picked up the photo.

“Are you sure this is her?” I asked.

“Positive, she has the same features as her, and there has been reported to be more storms in the area as well,” one of the associates responded.

“Hm, well she hasn’t changed a bit,” I scrunched my nose in disgust.

“What should we do about the situation? She’s getting closer,” another one asked worriedly.

“Nothing,” I ripped the picture into unrecognizable pieces.

“But what about the r-,” I cut them off.

“I am perfectly aware of the risk she brings with her. But I want to wait until she is alone and defenseless. We can’t take her right away, but I can assure you Sorrow will be destroyed.”
