Love Is Not For Sinners

I was still mad at my sister from last night, so I wasn't planning on calling her to see if her and frank got home ok because right now I really didn't care.

I sigh as I slowly walked down an isle in a pet store, looking at the cute little puppies they had, I wanted to get one so I wasn't completely alone in my apartment. I stopped walking and looked at a cute black and white pom pom.

It was so small, it's fur made it look like it was just a small puff ball instead of a dog.

"He's very friendly, would you like to hold him?" I heard a store employee ask me. I turn my head to look at them and nod my head. "Sure."

I step back as the employee opens the cage and hands me the little puppy. I couldn't help but to smile as how cute it is. I ran a hand threw his fur and laughed when he tried to bite my fingers.

"I think I wanna take him." I told the employee.

"Would you like to buy him a collar and leash?" the person asked.

I nod my head and fallow them to the isle where the callers, leashes and crates were. I picked out a cute collar and a leash that sorta matched it then I went to the cash register to pay.

I was walking out of the store with my new dog when I remembered I needed to buy him puppy food.

As I go back inside and down the dog food isle what I saw I wasn't expecting to see.

"Brian."

He turned around and looked at me, a cute little white dog in his arms. "Raid."

"I didn't see you much of a dog person." I said as I walked to where they had the puppy food.

"Yeah, well there's a lot of things you don't know about me."

I giggle and nod my head as I grab a bag of puppy food. "That's true, I just met you last night and we only talked for maybe a few minutes." I said as we both walked out of the isle.

"We could of talked longer if your sister didn't pull you away."

"Please don't mention my sister, she's the least of my worries right now." I told Brian as I paid for the dog food.

"Alright, sorry." He apologized.

"It's alright, I'm just mad at her for not giving me a reason to not talk to you. All she said was your a bad person and wouldn't tell me why." I said as I held the bag in one hand and my new dog's leash in the other.

I waited for Brian and once he paid for his things we walked out together. "Well, what if I was the bad guy?" Brian asked me.

"Please tell me your not gonna pull a twilight joke on me." I said thinking of what Edward says in the book.

I looked at Brian when he chuckled. "I wasn't planing on that."

I giggle too and look at my new dog, he needed a name.

"Would you like to walk on the beach with me?" Brian asked as he set his dog down.

"Sure." I said and started to walk down the street with him. It must look kinda funny to people passing by us because of how tall he is and how short I am.
It was nice walking with him, even-though we weren't talking that much. It was just nice being with someone who wasn't my family or dating my family.

When we got to the beach I took off my flip-flops and put then in the bag and started to walk bare foot through the sand.

"So why'd you move here?" Brian asked after a while of silence.

I looked down at my new dog and smiled when I saw him running to keep up with us. "Well, I needed a change in my life, so I came here." I answered truthfully.

"Well I guess this is a pretty big change, going from cold Michigan to coming to hot and beautiful California."

I smile and nod my head. "Yeah it is, I'm going to miss the cold winters though." I said as I looked around us, it was getting late and the beach was deserted.

"Whats so great about the winters?" Brian asked as we turned back the way we came.

"Well I'm going to miss the snow and go snow boarding."

"Well we may not have snow but we do have waves, I think there kinda the same."

I looked at the water and saw the waves crash against the shore. "I don't think I'll be able to surf." I said a little scared of how big the waves were.

"I'll teach you."

I looked at Brian. "I don't know." I said a little u-sure, he was a nice guy but I didn't know him that well.

"Come on, I'm an amazing teacher. I even taught my little sister to surf."

I gave up. "Alright when and where?" I asked Brian.

"How about here at around ten AM tomorrow? That way the waves will still be small."

I nod my head. "Alright I'll meet you here tomorrow. It's getting late so I better get home, I'll see you tomorrow." I said as I walked away from Brian and headed home, I was exited for tomorrow.
