Seamus Faulkner is your average 14 year old. Into his music. Watches the occasional telly. Still goes to school. And like all other teenagers, he is beginning to change. However, for no obvious reason to his parents, something has caused him to become emotionally closed off from everyone around him. Albeit that they spend so little time trying to understand why, they choose to let him deal with his problems and maybe one day he will open up.

After his parents' divorce and the family's relocation to Scotland without his mother Caitlin, Seamus becomes completely closeted, and drops further into an angst-ridden, depressive state. Can a start at a new school and a new life in a different country bring him peace of mind?
