The act of dying; the end of life; the total and permanent cessation of all the vital functions of an organism.

To say I was afraid of dying would be a lie; I wasn’t scared I was prepared; I knew it was coming and I took it head on like everything else I did. I knew something was wrong by the way my family acted around me and the way the doctors dotted over me so when the doctors told me I had Leukemia I wasn’t surprised I think my parents were more surprised by my calm reaction. Now you would think that knowing I only had about a year or so to live that I would just sit around worrying about that day coming but you’re wrong there; My last year alive was the best year I had spent living; I traveled across the united states, I did all the things I had always wanted to do with in a limit I did have Leukemia you know but do you want to know the best thing that happened during my last bit of time on Earth? I fell in love with the most amazing man alive.
