The award show so far was full of laughter. I was having an amazing time tonight and I couldn’t till the after party. I had won two Surfboards so far and I was very content if I didn’t win another one.
Right now I was leaving my seat to go backstage and get ready for my performance with Victoria.
“You will be in this room with Miss. Grace, Mr. Bieber.” A stage crew said to me before walking away.
I walked into the room and already saw Jessica sitting in a chair looking at what appeared to be lyrics.
“When did you get here?” I asked sitting in the chair next to her.
“Well if you weren’t looking around backstage you would have seen me walking in front of you.” She smiled
I sheepishly smiled and nodded my head.
“So what are you looking at?” I asked being nosey.
“I’m going over the lyrics to your song “Overboard” since neither of us could make it to rehearsal .”
She replied not looking away from the paper.
“It’s not that hard shawty.” I stated. “it’s actually really easy”
“Gee I wonder why?” She smirked “Maybe because it’s one of your songs?” she laughed
Yeah the way she said that I realized what I said came out pretty stupid. It’s not that hard to remember.
“Twenty minutes till you’re on.” A crew member said walking into the room
“Thank you.” We both replied
A few minutes have passed and I saw a few CD’s upon the coffee table. What are the doubts that my CD may be in the pile. I asked myself getting up and walking over to the stack.

“What?” Jessica asked.
“I found a better way for you to learn the song.” I said as I opened the case and popped out the CD and walked it over to the portable CD player. I waited for it to load before going to the correct track.

“ I think we should probably go over it a few more times so you know the words?” I stated
She just nodded her head and we went through the song about 2 more times before it was time to get ready to go on stage.
“Don’t worry you know the song by heart already.” I said giving her hand a reassuring squeeze.
“I’m not worried about that.” She smiled
“Then what’s wrong?” I asked
“Nothing at all” she smiled again
“Places everyone!” Someone screamed
“Let’s show them what we are made of!” She said giving me a hug before walking, well more like running to where she was suppose to go out on the stage.
