Emma Kesler and her sister Jenny grew up learning to skate with their brothers and watching them play hockey. Emma was always more of a bookworm and study nut than a party animal. But when she runs into a crazy 4th liner from Phoenix, her entire world is flipped upside down.

Erica Taylor moved from Sudbury, Ontario to Livonia, Michigan the summer before her junior year of high school. Erica was pretty outgoing and always up for a good time. She never thought becoming best friends with Emma Kesler would lead her on a completely different track than she had originally planned.
