Gerard, Me and Mikey

Mikey’s POV

I had just gotten home. I had to take a taxi to the mall and back home again. And all because of Hailey.
I don’t get it. How come out of no where she comes and just starts flirting with me.
Well maybe it’s my fault cause I hadn’t told her to stop. What was I thinking?
What was she thinking? I mean I have a girlfriend.
Well she didn’t know but still.
Actually not even Nicole knew she was my girlfriend.
I had to make things official now.
Tonight.
It’ll be just perfect.

I went upstairs to take a shower and get ready for the dance.
I noticed Gerard wasn’t home.
Hmm, I wonder where he could be?

I had picked up a mask at a store in the mall. And I had also bought something for Nicole.
Now all I had to do was find the perfect moment.
It was time to make things official.
My brother liked it or not.

Gerard’s POV

I pulled away from Nicole. Looking at her gorgeous face and just thinking about what had happened.
I had kissed her.
It was the greatest feeling in the world.
I had never felt anything like it.

Then I also remembered she was naked.
Underneath me.

I couldn’t help but blush.
I also couldn’t help but stare at her uncovered body under mine.

She noticed this and looked at me.
Blushing.
She looked so cute when she blushed.

Something behind her caught my attention.
A paper bag.
The mask!
The dance!
Mikey!

“What time is it?!”

I asked her.

“I don’t know”

I stood up, not looking at her. Not wanting to make her feel any more uncomfortable.

I heard her grab something.
Her clothes probably.

I turned around a few minutes later and she was already dressed.

Wow. She looked beautiful.
She was wearing a short black dress that showed off a lot of skin.
Though not as much as I had just seen.

Mikey’s POV
I was already ready. All dressed up and with the gift in my hand. I was waiting outside on the porch.
She couldn’t have forgotten.
Could she?

About ten minutes later I saw her car pull up on the driveway.
Excited for our first real date, I stood up and walked as fast as possible to her car.
I had no idea what time it was. But I was pretty sure we were running late.

When I got to the driveway I was gonna open the passenger’s door but saw there was already someone else in there.
Gerard?

He opened the door and got out. Holding it open for me.

“Well, nice spending time with you. I’ll see you around” he said to Nicole and then started walking towards the house.

Spending time with her?
What was going on with these two?

“Hey” I said as I got in the car and closed the door.

She started driving just as I did.
She just said hi back and focused on the road. Not talking to me.
What had I done now?
Was it all because of the whole ‘Hailey incident’?

When we got there I got out of the car and hurried to the other side of the car to open her door.

“M’ lady” I said as I opened it for her.

She smiled and blushed at the same time.
I smiled too.
That was just how it was.

I intertwined our arms and we walked into the school building.

Gerard’s POV

I looked at my watch.
8:34 pm.
The dance ended at 12 o’clock
I had time.
I smiled to myself as I got off the couch.
I decided to surprise Nicole. And save her from her boring ‘date’ with my brother.
I mean after what had happened today I wanted to see her, spend time with her. And maybe relive it all over.
I’m sure she wanted that too.

I went upstairs and got changed.
In less then 30 minutes I was ready.
I walked back downstairs and called a taxi.
It sucks not having my car.
Which reminds me.
Mikey.
He better get the money fast.

When I got inside the school building. I walked down the hall towards the Gym. That’s where the dance was suppose to be.
On my way I saw a few couples making out in the halls and some getting a ‘room’, well in this case a janitor’s closet.

When I walked in the gym I saw tons of people. It would take me a while before I found them.

But it didn’t.
I spotted Nicole, thanks to her gorgeous laugh.
She was fooling around with Mikey.
And by fooling around, I mean in a dorky Mikey way.
Thank god.

I walked over to them.
Nicole’s back was facing me and Mikey was distracted so he hadn’t even seen me until I walked up to them. I put my hands on Nicole’s eyes, covering them.

“Who…”

“Gerard” Mikey had already answer her question.

Too bad, cause I wanted to hear her say my name.

I uncovered her eyes and she turned around.

“Gerard what are you doing here?!”

I loved how she pronunced my name. Gerard. It sounded so much cooler when she said it.

“Surprise” was all I could say before she lunged herself into my arms in a hug.

I saw Mikey look at us with a disapproving look.
I felt bad. But then again, it wasn’t my problem she wanted/enjoyed more spending time with me.
I mean could you blame her?
