Meeting Again
The last few years I had made friends with a lot of people in the military, Roy Mustang was one of them. I had helped him in the civil war in the past along with Hawkeye and they have aided me any way they can knowing that I am immortal. But right now Mustang apparently knew someone who I could work with to find out if I could become mortal again... So I sat outside Mustangs office, half asleep as someone said I could come in.
“Reaka, I’d like you to meet Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric,” Roy spoke, my eyes shot open as I ran around and looked at the brothers,
“Reaka?” the blonde in the red coat asked,
“Edward?” I question.
Edward and myself pointed at each other,
“YOU’RE IN THE MILATARY!” I was shocked,
“YOU’RE STILL 15!” Edward was shocked,
“Well yea… I did tell you to keep it a SECRET, but because you just yelled it, probably the whole of Amestris knows now, thanks Edward…” I sighed.
“Yes, Edward I know about her problem too, she came to me when she couldn’t find out by herself so I’m helping her, and then when you shown up I thought you could help her instead since your looking for the philosophers stone,” Roy spoke, my ears pricked up,
“The stone?” I questioned,
“Yes, since you left home-” Alphonse started,
“Al, don’t tell her, she doesn’t need to know cos she wasn’t there!” Edward snapped, I looked at him blankly.
“So childish…” I sighed,
“Childish! I’m the same age as you and you call me childish!” Edward snapped,
“Actually no Edward, I’m over 100 years old so I am older then you, I just look 15…” Icorrected him,
“What’s your actual age?” Roy smirked, I growled at him. “Age is always a touchy subject with women,” Roy sighed, especially with myself, because I was old enough to be Edwards Great, Great, Great Grandmother.
Then I just noticed that Alphonse was HUGE compared to Edward,
“Al…” I spoke, “
Yes?” Alphonse look at me, I walked over to him with suspicious eyes, which worried him and Edward.
“I was right to be suspicious when I heard rumors of a super alchemist with a metal arm and a metal brother,” I punched Alphonse’s head off and saw nothing was inside, just a blood seal as I pulled him forward so I could look inside.
I glared at Edward, and the back of my hand went straight across Edward’s face,
“You moron!” I yelled,
“Brother,” Alphonse stood up to see if he was ok, but I grabbed Alphonse’s hand and flipped him over quickly,
“You’re both morons!” I yelled, I had water in the corner of my eyes.
“You have got to tell me why and when this happened…” I spoke.
Alphonse, Edward and myself went and sat down somewhere more private so we could talk.
“What happened? After I left…” I asked, Edward and Alphonse looked down,
“In your own time boys,” I smiled, Edward looked at me with a sad face.
They told me the entire story of what happened to their mother and how they tried to bring her back with the training from their teacher,
“I should have stayed… I would have been able to put you boys on the right track and stopped you from doing this…” I explained,
“It’s not your fault this happened Rea,” Alphonse spoke,
“I still should of stayed!” I snapped, “I should of sensed your mother was ill… I should have been there for you two… what kind of a friend am I if I can’t even help two boys…” I snapped.
I stood up,
“I’m guessing you're finding the stone to get your bodies back,” I explained,
"Yes,” they both nodded,
"Then I’ll help,” I put my fist up in determination with a small smile, Alphonse lifted his head up,
“Thank you,” he smiled.
Edward stood up a moment later,
“We have something of yours too…” Edward snapped, “It was a promise you gave us, saying that you’d return some day…” Edward added, “Here…” Edward walked around the table and taken both of my hands and put something in them.
When Edward stepped back I saw my charm bracelet,
“Thank you for looking after it Edward, Alphonse,” I smiled at them both.
I put the charm bracelet on and sat back down.
“Shall we just catch up about what’s happened over the last year,” I smiled,
“We want to hear about what you’ve been up to?” Edward asked,
“Ok then… easy enough… one word… traveling…” I laughed,
“Doing what?” Alphonse asked,
“Meeting people, getting to know them, you know,” I laughed.
“Well we just helped Colonel Jackass out with a problem and now he owes us,” Edward smirked,
“I see you have bigged yourself up since you became a state alchemist,” I smirked,
“What’s that suppose to mean?!” Edward snapped and slammed his hands on the table; I quickly looked away whistling to myself.
“Things haven’t changed a bit,” Alphonse chuckled.
I yawned and stood up,
“I’m gonna go to bed now, me not having enough sleep is a bad mix,” I laughed,
"Yea, we’ve dealt with that before now,” Edward sighed,
“Heyyyyy…” I pouted, “Anyway… I’m going now, night, night boys,” I waved lazily,
“Night Rea,” Alphonse smiled, Edward didn’t say anything as I left.
I got changed into my night dress and got into bed and looked at my charm bracelet noticing 2 new charms, one being the letter R. and another… being a small crystal gem of a heart.
I smiled to myself, “Thank you, Edward…”
