The Sky's Gone Out

When Riley Davis moves from Washington to California, she hates it. She hates the idea of having to adjust to something new, having to make new friends, the sunny weather, all of it. But when she's driving Oliver, a moody boy from her school home, she gets into a car crash. Next thing she knows, she's waking up in a dreary, dark, beaten down city with Oliver as the only connection to civilization she has left.

There's something wrong with the city, and they both know it. It's obvious, really. California during September couldn't possibly this unnaturally cloudy.

What happens when they find out they've fallen into an alternate reality, one worse than what either of them had ever bargained for...?
