It’s been a Saturday and you are watching Tony playing Catching with Johnny. Your phone rings and your dad look at you.

“Is it the Jeremy guy you telling me you dating?” Your dad asks.
“Actually yes it is,” You said.
“Is he coming today? I heard Tony talk about him.”
“Maybe.”
“Maybe?”
“He has some work, let me answer.”
“Ok.”

You get up and go inside while answering the call.

“Hey Jer,” You said.
“Hey Abby, I just finish up the signing do I have to come,” Jeremy ask.
“No but Tony would really like it.”
“Your dad is going to be there.”
“I’m meeting your fucken friends tomorrow while my dad spends time with my son, just suck it up and do it for Tony ok. Even if it is just for ten minutes if you come he will be happy ok.”
“Should I bring Katrina?”
“I would say no, you most likely don’t want her around this.”
“Ok I come ok.”
“Thank you Jer. I make sure they are on their best Behavior ok.”
“Ok, and Honey.”
“Um?”
“Relax about tomorrow. You be fine and you meet the only person thoughts that matters to me.”
“Colin matter that much?”
“No Katrina matter that much honey. I just pull up the street ok.”
“Ok nock on the door.”
“Ok bye.”
“Bye.”

You hang up and go outside and look at everyone.

“Tony go inside ok,” You said.
“Ok Mommy,” Tony said.

He goes inside and you look at everyone.

“Be nice to Jeremy got it everyone,” You told everyone.
“Who is Jeremy,” Brandon asks.
“Her new Boyfriend,” Tim said.
“We spouse to be nice to him why?” Tony Lovato asks.
“Because he is a good guy” Johnny said.
“For real?”
“Yes, and he is a good Father” You said.
“Figure?” M. Shadows ask.
“Figure in Tony’s eye sure, but he has a kid of his own,” You said.
“Just saying can you handle 2 kids if you guys get serious?” Stephanie asks.
“Yeah she is good kid”
“She being his kid?” M. Shadows ask.
“Yep, be nice please.”
“We will,” your dad said.

There is a knock on the door. You go inside and Tony looks at you.

“Go outside buddy,” You said.
“Who is at the door?” Tony asks.
“Jeremy, most likely.”
“He is coming?”
“Yeah.”

You open the door and see Ricky.

“Ricky what are you doing here?” You ask.
“I’m seeing my son,” Ricky said.
“You can’t.”
“What, you stripped my custody away from me.”
“Yeah, tell you are clean go to a court and we figure this out ok leave.”
“Abby do I really need to go to the court if you take me back? The little tattoo guy can’t be what you want.”
“Ricky, leave.”
“Let me see Tony.”
“No”

“Hey Abby,” Tony Lovato said.
“There is Tony,” You said.
“Ha ha,” Ricky said.

Tony looks at you and shakes his head.

“Ricky leave Abby alone you fucked up let it go,” Tony Lovato said.
“Don’t tell me what to do Lovato,” Ricky said.
“Or what?”
“Guys don’t start fighting,” You said.
“Oh see she still cares. Come here Abby.”
“Leave Ricky, I don’t care about you.”
“Mommy Mommy,” Tony said.

You sigh and go and look at Tony.

“Daddy is here?” Tony asks scared.
“Hey buddy comes here,” Ricky said.
“Mommy I don’t want to.”
“Go outside buddy,” You said.
“Ok.”

Tony runs outside. You look Ricky.

“You know if he runs to my Dad you are going to be in pain,” You said.
“Your dad is here?” Ricky asks.
“Yep, leave now.”
“Abby is Ricky really here?” Your dads ask.

Ricky runs out your dad comes and hug you.

“What is the matter?” Your dad asks.
“He knows where I live. I don’t want him to bug Tony,” You said.

You pout and your dad kisses your forehead.

“Deal with it sweetheart.”
“Thanks.”
“No problem, did Jeremy show up?”
“Not yet, go on outside guys.”
They leave and you smile as you see Jeremy coming up the drive way.

“You got a lot of people here who like Cadillacs,” Jeremy said.

You smile and kiss Jeremy’s lips.

“Yep, what you have in your hands?” you ask.
“First off, this if for you to wear tomorrow. Trust me you want to wear this, and Tony’s present,” Jeremy said.
“Ok, here give me my clothes I go put it up now.”
“Ok, here you go”

You take the bag and run up sitars and set it on your bed. You run back downstairs and smile seeing Jeremy holding Tony. You go and Jeremy looks at you.

“Jeremy came mommy,” Tony said.
“Yes he did,” You said.

Jeremy put him down and grabs a hold of you.

“Are you hungry buddy?” You ask.
“Yeah, I go tell Tony,” Tony said.
“Yep.”

He runs outside.

“Need anything to drink?” You ask Jeremy.
“Yeah do you have Rockstar or I got to go to the basement?” Jeremy ask.
“I got it in here.”

You grab one in the fridge and grab a Mountain Dew for you. You pull Jeremy outside.

“This makes a lot of sense as to why Tony doesn’t care about tattoos,” Jeremy said.
“Yep, come on you got to meet my father,” You said.
“Really.”
“Yes really, relax they be nice.”
“Yeah thanks Abby.”
“No problem.”

You go and drag Jeremy to your dad.

“Daddy this is Jeremy. Jeremy this is Lars,” You said.
“Hello it’s nice to meet you,” Jeremy said.
“Nice to meet you too,” Your dad said.

They shake hands you smile and Tony run to you. You pick him up and he lean his head on your shoulder.

“Mommy, Tony said he won’t cook,” Tony said.
“Be nice Dad,” You said.
“I Know,” Your dad said.

You pat Jeremy shoulder and go over to Tony.

“Please Tone cook for me, you know how to make good meat,” You ask.
“But Abby,” Tony Lovato.
“Pretty Please.”

You pull a puppy dog face.

“Is it wrong that you have a kid on you and yet look so innocent,” Tony Lovato asks.
“Nope, so are you going to do it?” You ask.
“Yes I do it.”
“Thank you Tone.”
“Why is it me?”
“Because one you the one of the only people who knows how to work the grill I have, and second I feel bad making my boyfriend cook right now.”
“So do I get to meet him,”
“Yes, I figure he meets my dad and Rancid first. Just don’t freak him out ok?”
“I know Abby I know.”
“Ok.”
“So you quite Guitar playing?”
“I play some but not a lot. It’s after one already get cooking.”
“Food in the normal place?”
“Yep.”
“Ok I get a kiss?”
“Fine Tone.”

You kiss his cheek and put Tony down and go over to your dad and Jeremy smiling that Jeremy looks relax. You sit down on the table in between your dad and Jeremy.

“Hello,” You said.
“You going to teach Tony to sit on the table,” Your dad said.
“He already learns it.”
“And to sit on the counters,” Jeremy said.
“I didn’t need to be taught to do it, so it’s his preference.”
“Ha ha Abbs,” Your dad said.
“It’s my table ha Ha dad,” You said.
“Got a point there, what do you do Jeremy?”
“Freestyle Motocross and I race trucks.” Jeremy said.
“Trucks?”
“Yeah I’m in the low weight class. It’s like a truck, but cut the bed short normally, and race on dirt road.”
“So it’s like Nasscare with Trucks?”
“Yeah but there are hills and stuff, there are Rally car races also it’s more like that.”
“Oh ok.”
“Truck racing is fairly new, and I’m just getting in it.”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah I been doing for 2 years going on my 3rd.”
“Interesting, what is the cross for on your eye?”

“Abby!” Tony Lovato yells.
“I will be back got to get Lovato straighten out,” You said.

You get up and go over to Tony and look at him.

“It’s not working,” Tony said.
“What you meant it’s not working?” You ask.
“It’s not working. I don’t know why since I try everything, Gas you need gas.”
“Fuck.”
“Also why is he twitching his head a lot?”
“He has Tourette's.”
“Oh interesting, so yeah you need gas.”

You sigh and Tony opens your arms.

“Johnny!” you yell.

Johnny comes and looks at you.

“Can you go get gas for me?” You ask.
“Yeah sure, but didn’t you make sure that you bought more yesterday?” Johnny ask.
“Where I put it?”
“Garage, I go get it.”
“Thanks.”
“No problem.”

He goes inside and Tony rubs your shoulder.

“I haven’t grill that much are you sure it’s right?” You ask.
“Yeah just out of gas,” Tony said.
“Ok, let’s see if Johnny can find the gas cans before I get flustered.”
“Yeah, so how you think your dad likes him?”
“I think it’s going to be rather or not how Jeremy feels about him, because my dad can really like him or really hate him depending on what side he shows my dad, but I think it’s going god.”
“Here we go,” Johnny said coming up and holding up the gas.
“Hook it up Tone,” You said.
“I will,” Tony said.
He hooks it up and the grill won’t work.

It’s not working either”

You sigh and Johnny goes away.

“I guess I got but things in the Broil so we can eat soon,” You said.
“I guess so that makes the most sense,” Tony Lovato said.
“Hey what Johnny talking about?” Jeremy ask coming up.

You hug Jeremy he kiss your head and rub your back.

“The grill isn’t working,” You said.
“Can I see if I can get it working?” Jeremy asks.
“Yeah go ahead,” You said.

He messed with stuff and it worked.

“There you go Abby,” Jeremy asks.
“Thanks Jer,” You said.

You kiss his lips and hug him tight. Tony goes inside to get the meat.
“I don’t like him,” Jeremy said.
“What?” you ask.
“He is too touchy with you.”
“Jeremy, me and Tony are just friends.”
“You name your son after him?”
“No, Tony’s farther wanted to name him Tony. I was out of it to really care.”
“I see I still don’t like him.”
“But you be nice?”
“Yes I be nice, and your dad isn’t so bad.”
“I know, he be better the more you see him, he relax more.”

He kisses your forehead.

“So when are you leaving anyways?”
“Like 2, I want to ride some.”
“And you be careful?”
“Yes I will be careful.”
“Thank you.”
“Your welcome but just because I be careful doesn’t mean I be safe from the hospital ok?”
“I know but you going to try and that matter to me.”
“Ok Honey.”

You pull him to Tim and Matt.

“Hey Guys,” You said.
“Hey Abby, everything ok with the grill?” Tim ask.
“Yeah, I thought Tony knew how to work it, anyways this is Jeremy, Jeremy this is Tim and Matt.”
“Hello it’s nice to meet you too,” Jeremy said.

You introduce Jeremy to everyone while you eat. Everyone seem to like him and he seem relax and like he is normally beside him glaring at Tony Lovato every now and again. You go inside to put the candles on the cake.

“Abbs,” Tony Lovato.

You look and see Tony Lovato in the kitchen.

“Um?” You said.
“Are you sure you really like this guy?” Tony asks.
“Yes I do.”
“It’s not just he doesn’t mind you having a son is it.”
“No Tony I’m attractive to Jeremy, and I really like him. Why?”
“It’s just I don’t know if he really is the right guy for you.”
“Whoa shocker neither do I Tone. Relax he is a good guy so he not going to hurt me.”
“Wait you don’t know if he is the guy you going to married.”
“No we only been seeing each other for a couple weeks ok.”
“But do you think he has the traits you want in a husband.”
“Yep, go outside I bring the cake out.”
“Ok”

Tony leaves you put the candles on the cake and Jeremy came in.

“Hey Jer,” You said.
“Hey I’m leaving,” Jeremy said.
“Oh really.”
“Yeah, Bilko came by, so he and Take are starting to confuse Katrina.”
“Ok bye.”
“Just has anything with you and Tony happen?”

You sigh and sit on the counter.

“And that’s my answer,” Jeremy said.
“It was just for warped tour ok. We decide we better off friends. He didn’t want a girlfriend I wanted a boyfriend, and now I don’t want anything but a friendship,” You said.
“How long ago?”
“It was in 03 so it’s been a while.”
“Ok”

You go and kiss Jeremy’s lips and pull away.

“I’m sure I want to be with only you right now ok,” You said.
“Ok and in a minute when I’m gone,” Jeremy spat out.
“It want’ change that soon, but base on your actions is what changes it or someone new walk in my life, but I doubt that.”
“I see you tomorrow ok?”
“Ok, go see your princess, and tell her I say hi.”
“I will bye.”
“Bye.”

You kiss his lips one more time before he leaves. You go outside and your dad light the candles.
