Sequel: Unrequited Love.

Untangle Me.

Hesitating,

“Helena you’re sisters here!”

Danielle didn’t even step into the door before her Mother was yelling for her younger sister. She watched as her mother yelled up the stairs and then turned her attention back to her oldest daughter.

“I can’t thank you enough honey”, she said with an exhausted look on her face. “I thought your sister was going to be just as easy as you, I really messed that up.”

Danielle let out a laugh before shaking her head. When Danielle was younger she wasn’t a rambunctious kid, she was always calm and go with the flow. Danielle wasn’t very rebellious and the easy daughter, she didn’t prepare her parents for the torturous teenager that is Helena Bailey.

“She’s can’t be that bad.”

“She’s already talking on the phone at nine o’clock at night.”

Danielle let out a laugh at her mother’s face of horror before shaking her head. She was expecting something stupid, but not that bad. She gave her Mom a look of confusion before shaking her head.

“With Boys, Danielle”, she said stretching out the word for emphasis. “Boys, I didn’t have to deal with you and boys until high school.”

“Just calm down Mom”, Danielle said with a laugh. “I’ll talk to her or something.”

“The bad part is she doesn’t have Logan around like you did to scare away the boys.”

Danielle couldn’t help but to laugh. Logan always scared the boys away from her. At times it
was very annoying but when she thought about it she missed it. She wished she would have listened to her brother when he told her that John was bad news.

“Have you heard from him?”

“Just an Email, but from what he said he was going to come back home for a week or two before they send him off to Spain.”

Danielle just nodded her head, she missed her brother dearly. Danielle’s brown eyes scanned the room waiting for her sister to make her appearance.

“El! Hurry up!”

“I’m coming!” she heard her sister yell in response.

Josephine just rolled her eyes at the sound of her youngest attitude filled response. Then her eyes scanned over her oldest daughter, there was something different about Danielle. Josephine looked down at her small shorts and tightly fitted shirt, her hair pinned back showing off that beautiful face of hers that time and time again, she begged her daughter to show more often. There was a glow to her daughter and she was afraid to ask what caused it.

“You look different, honey”, Josephine began probing for answers. “Did you get a haircut?”

“You’ve already seen my hair like this Mom.”

“New clothes?”

“Nah”, Danielle said looking down at her clothes. “I’ve had these for already a year.”

Danielle watched as her Mother just simply nodded her head. She was nervous; she sensed the questions on the top of her mother’s tongue. Her Mother had this sixth sense; I guess you could call it a mother intuition. Her Mother always had this keen sense when something major was going on in Danielle’s life. Danielle was a private person, especially when it came to her parents. Right when her mother was opening her mouth to say something, she was interrupted by Helena with purple sunglasses on her small face.
Josephine looked away from Danielle as she rolled her eyes at her daughters fashion sense. “Those look ridiculous.”

“I like them.”

“They look stupid”, Danielle said with a roll of her eyes. “I’m going to be embarrassed to be seen with you wearing those so take them off or I’m not taking you.”

“Ugh!”

Danielle watched as her little sister pulled off the glasses with an annoyed look on her face and then tossing them on the counter beside them. Danielle let out a laugh before raising her eyebrows at her mother.

“Be back later.”

“Good luck with her.”

Danielle just laughed at her Mom’s choice of words but 30 minutes into shopping with her little sister she understood the luck that she needed. Helena didn’t like anything; everything was too ugly or too stupid. Danielle was a picky person but Helena was far worse. When they finally walked into Danielle’s store of choice, H&M, they found some middle ground.

“El, Dad would kill me if I bought that for you.”

“But it’s so cute.”

“It’s not age appropriate”, Danielle said looking down at the small low cut shirt. “I would feel awkward in that and I’m a 21 year old woman.”

Helena just let out a small noise before rolling her eyes and walking off. Helena and Danielle were close sisters, but they were always arguing. They were polar opposites yet so much alike. Everyone could tell they were siblings just by looking at them; they both shared those beautiful almond shaped eyes and the fair skin. Danielle went through the racks looking for something that their parents and Helena would agree on, she was in for it.

“I saw your sister looking at miniskirts; I think it’s time for an intervention.”

Danielle jumped back at the raspy voice that hit her neck. She turned around to be met with those beautiful green eyes staring back at her.

“I think I need to kill her.”

“That won’t solve anything!”

“Oh it would solve a whole lot”, she said watching John laugh. “What are you doing here?”

John simply smiled at the beautiful girl standing way to close to his body. John just so desperately wanted to reach out and touch her. He just wanted to touch her, which was it. Touch that soft skin, the thought alone made his skin go a craze.

“I needed new jeans.”

“You risked your life coming in her John”, she said with a laugh looking around at the girls giving John the second glance. “You’re going to be attacked by loud and obnoxious pre-teens any minute now, I’d run if I were you.”

“Talking to you is risk the danger.”

Danielle couldn’t help but to blush at the statement but she shook it away. This was just that JohnO charm, nothing more.

“Nice line JohnO”, she said with a roll of her eyes and a laugh.

“Oh shut up Danny”, he said with a laugh. “So what are you doing here? Possibly stalking me?”

“Yes.”

“I thought so.”

“Actually I’m taking Helena shopping for some clothes”, she said looking over at her sister grabbing some short shorts off the rack. “My parents were going crazy with her so they passed it to me.”

John looked from Danielle’s beautiful face to the little girl standing there. He shook his head as he watched her grab the shortest shorts off the rack.

“Is she aspiring to be some kind of slut?”

“Possibly”, Danielle said with a laugh. “Their doing some test but they’re not quite sure if that is her master plan.”

John let out a laugh before shaking his head. “Would you mind one more expert?”

“Would you mind a headache?”

“That’s what they invented chill pills for”, he said looking over at Danielle with a smirk. “Maybe you should take one.”

Danielle let out a laugh shaking her head before watching John make his way to my sister. Danielle watched as the two hugged and then John pulling out the shorts from her hand. 20 minutes the three of them were making their way to the register to pay for the clothing. John threw his pants on top of Helena’s pile of clothes Danielle look over at him with a dirty look. John simply pulled out his card before handing it back to the girl.

“Credit or debit?” they girl asked looking over at him and then back down at the credit card with a nervous look on her face.

“It doesn’t matter”, John said with a shrug.

“Can I see an ID?”

John smiled before pulling out his wallet from his pocket showing the ID. The girl looked over it and realization rushed over her when she saw it. She handed back John’s card before smiling up at him.

“I really love your band.”

“Thank you.”

“Is it okay if I can take a picture with you?”

John looked up from the girl as he signed the bill away. John simply nodded his head with a smile. Before he could say anything the girl ran around the counter with her phone in hand. John looked over at Danielle and Helena who were looking at them strangely. John noticed other people in the store looking over at John with wide eyes. Suddenly John was feeling nervous; he needed this picture to be taken quickly. When the flash went off in his green eyes, he grabbed the bags and made his way out of the store not waiting for Danielle and Helena.

“Oh hey rock star.”

“Shut up.”

“You’re so cool John”, Helena said with a laugh. “Such a rock star.”

“You’ve been hanging out with your sister too much”, John said with a laugh as they walked out of the mall. “You use to be nice, do you not love me anymore.”

“Of course I love you.”

“Still have that crush on me?”

Danielle just rolled her eyes with a smirk on her lips. Leave it to John to flirt with her little sister. No girl was safe from John, not even the young.

“Nope, I’m over you”, she said with a laugh. “Garrett has my heart.”

Ouch

John’s smirk was gone for a second before a small laugh left his lips. He looked over at Danielle who look just as shocked as he was. Oh the irony of that statement was oh so sweet.

“Garrett has both of your Bailey sisters.”

Danielle watched as Helena looked over at her older sister in confusion before shrugging her shoulders and walking off to the car.

“So what are you two doing after this?”

Danielle looked over at John as she popped the trunk. “Probably go get lunch.”

“Room for one more?”

“Of course”, Danielle said with a smile. “I still can’t believe you paid for all that, I’m going to give you the money whether you want it or not.”

“I don’t need your money.”

“You won’t be saying that once you’re broke.”

“That won’t happen, sweetheart.”

Danielle couldn’t help but to melt at the sound of his voice and that adorable smile he had on those lips. Those lips that Danielle just wanted to so desperately kiss again. Was John old news? At this point Danielle was on the fence, but all she knew was that she wanted him to keep talking because she loved his voice.

*Just a small filler before the intense shit goes on. I just wanted to show how Danielle is warming up to John, but still not falling for those lines that use to make her go crazy. I have so much in store for this story, just you wait! In the next few chapters you're going to start seeing the flaws in Garrett and a more cute John, i wonder if that will change all the Team Garretts. Hmmmmm (;

*So i think i'm going to put my Josh Franceschi stories on hold since it seems like not much of the readers are intestered in it. Going to focus my time on this story as well as Trophy Eyes. At one point i was losing my love for a certain John O'Callaghan but i'm getting it all back. I read some John stories on this sight and i fell in love with him all over, of course it didn't help that i was listening to that beautiful voice of his and looking at pictures. So my love for him is BACK and in full force.

*Another thing! I want to start a new story soon, possibly another John story. I know, way too many but he's just such a diverse character and i could do so much with him. But, if you guys have anyone else in mind let it be know. And if you were wanting to be a main character, just let me know with a simple comment on this story.
