Forever and Always

Analeigh’s POV

I was sorting through my clothes; looking at things I didn’t need any more, when I heard a knock on the front door. I didn’t bother to answer it knowing that Mom would get it.

I stood in front of the mirror and held a top to myself, I frowned at it, and hearing voices from the door as it shut again though I could still hear the voices meaning that the person was in the house.

I threw the top on my bed along with the other items I was getting rid of. I walked to my wardrobe and pulled out another top I hadn’t worn in a while, I cocked my head as I looked it over. As I considered it Mom walked into the room with a small frown on her face
“Ana, someone is here to see you” she told me, I looked at her with a raised brow
“who is it?” I asked, she sighed
“it’s Sam and Emily” both my brows were now raised with surprise
“what?” I asked, she nodded
“do you want me to get them to leave?” she asked, worried; I sighed and shook my head placing the top back in my wardrobe
“no, I’ll see what they want” she nodded then walked off out of my room. I took a deep breath to calm myself before I walked out of my room and down the hall.

Entering the main room I saw Sam and Emily sat on the sofa together. I didn’t mention it as I went and sat in the arm chair
“so what do you need me for?” I asked. Sam and Emily looked at one another before Emily gave me an apologetic look. Leaning forwards in her seat she spoke
“I’m so sorry, you were trying to help and I was acting like a spoiled brat, I know what they go through and I know that you probably have the same feelings as me sometimes, I was worried and scared and I took it out on you” she apologised, I stared at her a moment before nodding
“thank you for apologising” she smiled at me and I returned it lightly before asking
“is that it?” Emily sighed and looked over at Sam, squeezing his hand. He looked down at the ground and sighed
“look I’m sorry about what I did, it wasn’t right to have shouted at you, I know that you were right in what you told me but I was stressed and upset so I ignored it and was just looking for someone to blame and well you were convenient, I’m also sorry for grabbing you, I hope I didn’t leave a mark” he looked up at me and I raised a brow, deciding not to tell him that yes he had left a very large hand print bruise on my arm that I had to hide from Paul, you could still kind of see it.

I nodded then got to my feet
“ok, I accept your apologies, I have things to get back to now if you don’t mind” I went to walk out of the room but Emily got to her feet and stopped me, smiling at me
“come round tonight, we’re having a barbeque” I raised a brow
“really?” I asked, she nodded
“yeah, it will be fun” I nodded and gave a sickly sweet smile
“well I would love to but I’m banned” I told her before walking out of the room and back into my own.

I groaned as I heard the front door close behind the couple, I knew it was mean to act like that but I was upset at what they both had done, I considered them close friends and they treated me like that, you don’t treat friends like that no matter how much stress you’re under. I would never ban a friend from my house no matter how pissed with them I was, it’s not even like they had a right to be pissed with me.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair before walking back over to my wardrobe and opening it up again, pulling out a jacket, I grimaced at it and threw it on the pile, it had to go.

I had folded the clothes in the pile neatly and placed them in a black bag, I would take them to Mrs Clearwater in the morning as she tended to collect things like this to give to people who needed it.

I placed the bag by my door before walking out and down the hall into the kitchen.

I looked through the cupboards for something to eat and decided on making beans on toast.

I had gotten the tin opened and the bread out ready when Mom walked in and smiled at me
“what you making honey?” she asked, I smiled in return
“I’m making beans on toast, want some?” I asked, she shook her head
“no thanks, I’m going out later to the Clearwater’s house to spend some time with Sue, she’s been down lately what with Leah going AWOL” I nodded
“yeah, I’m worried about Leah too, would you mind taking the bag of clothes I have for her round?” I asked, she nodded and I got back to making my food.

I stirred the beans and placed the bread in the toaster as Mom asked
“so what did Sam and Emily want earlier?”
“To apologise” I told her, she raised a brow
“really?” I nodded and she hummed
“hmm, and did you accept the apology?” I sighed
“I did, well kind of, I accepted it but I’m still not over it” I told her, she frowned
“really? Well I guess I wouldn’t be either I mean they were out of line” I chuckled and nodded
“yeah they were, don’t worry, it will take a few days but I’ll get over it” Mom sighed and nodded before getting to her feet and kissing me on the cheek
“ok honey, I’ll get the bag then be going” I nodded and she turned and left the room.

I ate my food before picking up my cell and seeing that I had a text from Kim
not coming over? it said, I text back
no I’m just gonna stay away for a couple of days, make sure it’s completely blown over it wasn’t long til I got a reply
ok honey :D I giggled before walking into the kitchen where I washed my plate then made myself a hot chocolate which I took into my room.

I sat down at my desk and turned on my computer which I then just randomly surfed the internet with before falling into bed and sleeping deeply.
