Chapter 5
Aria:
Zane, Aislinn, and I had all slept in the attic. We had to make sure the poison didn't take over his body so Aislinn brought in a sleeping bag for the two of us and we both got in.
"Morning sleepy-heads." Aislinn said, unzipping her side of the sleeping bag.
Zane was still fast asleep. He looked so peaceful. Aria couldn't help but smile seeing him wrinkle his nose.
"What's so funny? I can't look that bad!" Aislinn replied, putting her hands on her hips.
I couldn't help but giggle when I saw her face. Her mascara had smeared and she looked like a clown.
"Maybe you should look in the mirror before you speak!" Aria said.
Zane stirred and woke up. Seeing Aislinn's face he started laughing hysterically. Aislinn went over and smacked his arm. I couldn't help but laugh even more now, and saw Aislinn and Zane nod to each other, smiling. Zane got out of bed and walked over, grabbing onto the sleeping bag while Aislinn grabbed the other side.
"I was just kidding. What?! I'm not supposed to laugh? You guys! Put me down!" I screamed.
"Should we stop swinging?" Zane asked sarcastically.
"Nah, I think she could use a bit more nausea." Aislinn replied.
I screamed as they swung me back and forth. I couldn't stop giggling. I felt like I was going to hurl. They finally stopped, dropping me on my butt.
"You guys suck, ya know?" Aria said looking up at the two of them.
"We love you too!" Zane and Aislinn said in unison.
Soon, all three of us went downstairs. I used Aislinn's bathroom while she used her parents', since they weren't home, Zane went to the third bathroom in the house. We had to give him a sponge bath, considering the wraps and such on his arm. We made pancakes with maple syrup and tea/coffee.
