I knew it was going to be awkward now, I mean, why wouldn’t it be? I just realised I love my student!

“Is everything ok?” I jumped, I had completely forgotten that David was there. I forced a smile,

“Yea, just had a little fight.” He sighed,

“Lovers fight.” I didn’t even bother to correct him, this seemed to concern him, “You sure you’re ok? I can come back some other time.” I shook my head,

“No no, it’s alright.” He looked at me suspiciously but didn’t say anything,

“Who the hell was that?” I heard Witney ask angrily as she walked into the room,

“What do you mean?” I asked, she crossed her arms,

“There was this guy downstairs, he looked rather peeved off. Is he your boyfriend or something?” My jaw dropped,

“What! Where did you get that from?” she shrugged,

“Well you know, he seems to be around your age. And he is kinda hot.” David laughed,

“I told you Lexi! He’s delicious!” Witney raised her eyebrow,

“So he is your boyfriend?” I shook my head,

“No! He’s a student!” Witney sighed,

“Are you trying to tell me that or are you trying to tell yourself?” David went silent and Witney just shook her head, “I gotta go do some homework.” I nodded,

“Fine.” Witney then left the room.
Witney POV
“Thanks Mrs Husten.” Mrs Husten smiled and nodded at me,

“No problem love. Come over anytime you want.” I nodded and closed the door. I sighed as I started to walk inside the lobby, I opened the door to see a boy with blonde hair walking back and forth, I stared at him confused,

“Are you ok?” I asked, he jumped and span around. His blue eyes looked like they were analysing me, I also saw something else behind his stare. Sadness? I couldn’t tell,

“I’m alright.” His voice seemed stiff, “Uh. Do you happen to know Alexis Loft?” I narrowed my eyes,

“Who wants to know?” He sighed,

“Just don’t worry.” He sat down on one of the chairs and rested his head in his hands. I sighed,

“I’m her sister.” He looked up, “Why?” He bit his nails,

“Can you keep a secret?” He asked nervously,

“Depends what it is.” He groaned and put his head back in his hands. I rolled my eyes, “Fine fine, yes. I’ll keep your secret, just tell me.” He sighed and looked up,

“I think…. I may love your sister.” I raised an eyebrow,

“That’s all?” He paused,

“What do you mean is that all!” He yelled, I flinched back and he closed his eyes, “Sorry, sorry. I tend to have little…. Mood swings….” I nodded,

“Are you angry because your one of her students?” He nodded, I shrugged, “But love has no boundaries.” He nodded, that seemed to relax him. He then stiffened and his head shot up to look at me,

“You cannot tell her that we had this conversation!” I nodded,

“I won’t tell, I’ll just say that there was a pissed off guy in the lobby.” He smirked,

“She doesn’t like swearing.” I rolled my eyes,

“Fine, peeved off guy!” He winked at me and I headed off towards my apartment.
